This place is family-run. I was a regular their with my mom before I transferred to a college outside the area. They were always so friendly, sincere, and accommodating, especially the husband and wife who own it. It is a place I know I could go back and they would remember me, ask how school was treating me and how my mom was doing. They make you want to tip them. It also doesnt hurt that they make really great bagels as well, theyre fast, the food is cheap, theres free wi-fi and you get to support a local, small business in the process. Its worth checking out!

This is the go to place for everyone on a Sunday morning. Excellent bagel sandwiches and self service coffee. They bring the food to your table after you pay. A little eclectic with skyline pictures on the wall, old fire place, fast moving ceiling fans, and drinks stacked against the wall, but definitely a good value, good food, and friendly hard working staff serving many people.

This is my familys go-to place for Sunday brunch, and we like that its a local business. Service is a little slow when theyre busy, but thats understandable (because its a small place) and forgivable (because the food is always really good). Bonus points -- they stock Boylan Soda in the drink coolers!

A Fairfax institution. And the best (and only independent) bagel shop in the city. A hangout, read a newspaper, and chat with friends as they come and go kind of place. The teenage/college staff can be a bit ditsy and impersonal sometimes, but the people in charge are great.

Main street Bagel Deli located on main street of Fairfax city has soft and fresh bagels in the whole town. Extremely friendly staff and with a variety of choices in their menu card. Not expensive either. Serve your health by replacing other junk food with one of these.

amazing bagels, amazing staff! If you are in Fairfax and need breakfast, get a bagel sandwich or one of their bagels with cream cheese. Great family owned and run local eatery. Much better than the chain bagel stores.

Friendly service and a nice variety of options. Not a large number of vegetarian options, but those they have I enjoy regularly (particularly the veggie hummus, on one of any number of bagels).
