I got into Richmond Virginia this evening around 6 p.m. on October 2nd-2015, I just wanted something simple because lately Ive been eating gyro restaurants and Ive been getting a lot of heartburn so I ordered a regular cheeseburger with fries, side of onion rings, had a yogurt drink so anyways, the hamburger was really thin and it had lettuce on top but it wasnt that special, the French fries were good didnt taste oily but the man running the store was very nice and friendly it was nice talking to him too hello I told him that I was traveling through coming from Chicago and we chatted for awhile I give this place decor a1 star I give the food at 3 star and I give this guys personality a five star, the pictures for the food need to be redone, and make it more inviting to eat. By the way for you all fellow Muslims, I asked if it was Halal or Zabiha, he says it says on the box halal Zabiha, Allah knows best

I went there around 6:00 on a thursday to eat dinner and the door was locked. A hispanic lady who looked like she was a cook opened the door and said "boss is not here" then closed the door then locked it. When i stood there for about 4 minutes an african american guy walked toward the door and the hispanic lady opened it and when i asked what the heck was going on she didnt answer me and just smiled and closed the door again. I dont know what the heck is going on at this place but it is SKETCHY and unfortunately it is the only authentic iranian restaurant in the richmond area and I was extremely disappointed. I will not go back there either way. Really strange DO NOT GO HERE

Yes, they know how to cook middle-eastern dishes professionally. I have tried several eastern restaurants in USA and I feel that I get at most 80% of the real taste; I am a middle eastern myself, so I know how the professional taste should look like. I always say "well, cannot hope for better". But this restaurant knows how to get to the 100% of the authentic taste. I was much moved that I decide to write a review for the first time.

The food here is absolutely WONDERFUL! Very authentic middle eastern taste. Dined here with friends on 2 different occasions and all of our minds were blown! In addition, the owner is very nice and friendly, the atmosphere is what can only be described as cozy, and the food was brought out very quickly compared to most restaurants! 11/10 would recommend!

Buffet is excellent, reliable, and cheap; owner is super friendly and remembers repeat customers. Very nice people. Atmosphere is lacking, but youre getting more than what youre paying for, so why complain? Much like the classic adage, pick two, and I pick quality & price over style here.

The Coliseum Lofts Apartments are horrible, I know. I lived there for 3 years, but the deli downstairs is fantastic. The owner is the nicest guy. Family run eatery and it shows with all the care. Thanks Lofts Deli
