My wife and I went during lunch. The burrito I got was enormous, which I was looking forward to. However, the pork seemed like it had been cooked days before... the rice was insipid and the filling of the burrito was just the meat, cheese, beans and the sauce. The pork was sweet but it was not very flavorful. How do you botch pork?! The beans and rice were lacking flavor and the rice was not good quality, which is why it was hard and unenjoyable. The sauce was sugary but not spicy at all... even though it was advertised as the hottest one (which is why I picked it). Honestly, my wife requested to go to this place and I knew it was Tex-Mex, so my expectations were very low. What a terrible disappointment that this place was way below my expectations. There were some pluses, like the friendly staff, but the food is the main attraction. I know better, so this experience served me as a friendly reminder that if I want good burritos or tacos that I just need to go to a taco truck. If I could give this place -2 stars I would. Too bad because the location a day staff are good. Oh, one more thing, please do not insult Mexican culture by stating this is an authentic Mexican restaurant serving classics... totally way off base... Mexican cuisine is full of flavor and spice, this restaurant is the complete opposite.

I came to the store with my family today right when it opened. There was no chicken available and I was told it wouldnt be ready for 20 minutes. I ended up ordering a steak salad without rice or beans. My server didnt listen to me clearly say no when she asked if Id like the tortilla chips on top. Instead of offering to make a new one, as my wife has a gluten allergy, I was forced to pull out the chips individually from her salad. By the time she started eating, she noticed that the juices from the steak ended up making the salad very watery. It was a pretty bad experience. The items on my salad were not very well put together (sour cream on one side, rice on the other). The quality of the food and the service left a lot to be desired. Needless to say, I will not be visiting in the future.

I love this place for relatively quick, exceptionally delicious Tex-Mex. We dropped in for lunch this weekend and the staff are friendly, albeit a little slow moving. As far as Im concerned its worth the wait. The price is right and the portions are more than adequate. My favorite thing to get here is the salad, but its HUGE. Instead I grabbed a couple chicken tacos that were mighty delicious. The tortillas are so freakin good and the house dressing is tasty on absolutely everything. Like, have a shoe that needs eating? Drizzle a little dressing on it and youre good to go. I grabbed a side of it for my chicken tacos yesterday and it was one of the best decisions I made all day. Seriously--can I please get that stuff in bulk?

Very frustrating experience. I came at 9:30PM and wanted a salad. The problem was that by that time they had NO salsa, NO guacamole, NO lime sauce, NO tomato sauce, NO tahini sauce, NO sour cream. In other words the only thing left for my salad was the lettuce. I got upset because i drove there, waited in line for 10 minutes, started ordering my salad and finaly realised that theres nothing left to add into it. Very frustrating. I just wasted 40 minutes and am still hungry. All the staff said was: guacamole will be tomorrow, salsa tomorrow, lime sauce tomorrow. Oh my gosh. Hardly coming ever again.

We went and I ordered a sweet pork burrito. The taste was fantastic and the portions were generous! We went at noon on a Thursday and we had all our food within five minutes of arriving. All the tables were cleared and the garbage cans werent overfilling. The employees were courteous. The only complaint was when they did not explain that the extra salad sauce cost a dollar extra (which was well worth it). I will definitely be coming here again.

My first time here! Pretty satisfied, i chose the salad which is the biggest meal there apparently, And im currently stuck on my chair from being full ! Lol Anyway the food taste very good ! And I really enjoy the customer service. I removed one star because it smells like full diaper a little. Maybe i came at the wrong time and a baby pooped! But yeah ! Great food and its confortable!

This was my families first time at Cafe Rio. The prices were good, the plates huge with food to feed 2 people at least. Our favorite was when the Mariachi band began to play and interacted with the guests. They played wonderfully and smiles from the crowd let me know everyone else enjoyed them too. When back in the area this is top priority to stop and eat at!

Cafe Rio reminds me of home. The fast casual dining experience is a perfect way to spend your lunch hour. Cafe Rio offers different specials on different days. I recommend getting anything with their sweet pork, it is to die for. I could eat here every day, and Im probably closer to that claim than Id like to admit.

Whats not to like? Generous portions of custom-made entrees prepared with fresh ingredients; Consistently good customer service; And one of the best customer loyalty programs Ive ever encountered. Combine that with great daily specials and you understand why this has become a go-to dining establishment for me.

Loosing quality. The first couple of times I ate here I really like the food and the way they served. But today the tortia was cold and little raw even after asked to get it heated. . Guacamole is very loose and very small quantity compared to any other place I ever ate.

Taco Tuesdays is where its at. Not only are there $2 tacos, but the burritos (the best meal, in my opinion) are also discounted. I love the pork burrito enchilada style with the medium sauce. Then you can add from a large selection of hot sauces to kick up the spice.

Food is good, especially the tortillas. But the customer service, especially from one person in particular who I believe is the manager, SUCKS. Shes rude, super snippy, and always feels the need to defend herself. Chill out dude, all I asked for was tomatos.

Awesome restaurant! The atmosphere is great, the ingredients are fresh, and the people are friendly! I recommend the sweet pork burrito! It is incredibly delicious and will fill you up! Easily one of my favorite places in the area!

Went yesterday with 5 others. Four out of five of us are now sick (typical food poising; throwing up etc). Staff unnecessarily rude too. We will not be returning, obviously.
