Sucked ass, took forever to get my shucking oysters and the waitress wasnt even hot. That was a year ago; I come back and get fowl mouthed by the oyster boy.(talk about grudge) I gave him a chance to redeem himself and an hour and a half later was still waiting for pearls to culture. My younger brother passively asked him what was going on and received a response I can not share on here. I could see the oyster boy was missing a few teeth and only could assume its because the way he is blatantly disrespectful. If thats not the case its probably because he uses his mouth to shuck the oysters which would explain why it was taking so long. Our bartender was a sweetheart who provided excellent service was very sympathetic, so I added an extra rating star, but its been two weeks and I still havent recieved the oysters which I rightfully paid for.

Had lunch there last Sat. Since new ownership is in place - food is much better .... We had fish and chips and shrimp basket - crunchy coating on the fish - delicious Only concern was / is when you are out eating at a restaurant and really savoring every last bite - enjoying sitting by the water - talking with your good friend - its hard to hear the server say " Are you still picking on that ?" I know its not a fine dining place but how much nicer to hear, " Are you still enjoying your lunch ? " Just a suggestion.....

Had a great time at Happy Harbor. Wait staff very good Owner came over and spoke with is. Good very good. Fun watching the boats pull right up to the restaurant and unload the days catch. Took more than 30 minutes for crab balls and basket of fried shrimp. The table of 7 across from is got their food sooner even though they got there after we did (party of 2). There were 4 over fried crab balls and 5 over cooked shrimp on a bed of greasy fries once our food finally arrived. We wont be back! overly done crab balls and a basket of fries feirh

Ordered a seafood platter. Shrimp were good the fish was not at all what i expected. It was like one of those triangle shaped patties you buy in the frozen food section. They deep fried it. It was okay. The crabcake was dry it was mostly a bread crumb filler and nasty

I love this place. The outside bar is awesome and they make sure they remember who you are and what you like to have there. Its a wonderful place to spend an evening. As far as my tastes go, this is the perfect place to be.

A great place to dine if you are in the area and want a quick bite to eat. Food is fresh and the drinks are fantastic, I would recommend this for a small getaway from the DC area, nice atmosphere and a great pier.
