My wife and I have really enjoyed our previous visits and this past Saturday was no exception! She chose here for her Birthday dinner with several friends we had a wonderful experience and were treated warmly--more like friends than like customers. Our server made some suggestions and wanted us to try some special dishes. How could we refuse? These dishes were absolutely outstanding. I had the Lamb Nalli Ghazala (a lamb shank) in a delightfully spicy, savory and tasty brown sauce and rather than our usual order of Paratha we were treated to something new: Rosemary Olive Naan. Suffice it to say our party went through 3 orders of this treat. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The warm, inviting and friendly atmosphere coupled with the excellence of the food served makes this a restaurant we will return to again and again. And we will tell our friends as well --just as I am now telling the "Web" I also have a couple of photos but I dont see how I can post them along with this review so look for them elsewhere.

We decided to have something a bit different for our wedding reception and since we both like Indian, we thought it would be a nice change from the same food you get at most weddings (weve been to a couple recently). We started by going to dinner at a few Indian restaurants in the Columbia area. When we ate at Flavors of India we knew we found the right place. The service was excellent and the food amazing. But we didnt know how that would transfer to feeding 75+ people. We ask them to have the food delivered at 2:30 and they were right on time. They set everything up perfectly and made sure we were totally happy before they left (we had our own server). As I talked to people during the afternoon and evening, so many people commented about how great the food is. Several people said they werent really fond of Indian food but found what we had very good. We dealt with AJ who was simply great to work with. I would highly recommend Flavors of India for a cozy dinner or a large affair.

First time trying this restaurant and I was ordering carry out. The staff was super friendly, even offered me a seat at the bar with a glass of water while I waited. (Its a beautiful restaurant, I might add) I ordered the samosa chaat, chicken saagwala, and some naan. It was amazing. Smelled fantastic, tasted even better. I usually dont have faith in the quality of many restaurants like this and have only had a handful that were even just decent, let alone worth a second trip. This place is my new favorite, hands down. Cant wait to come back.

Great food and great service. Family friendly and well priced, discounted prices for kids! Try it you wont be disappointed! The staff was very kind to allow our homeschool group to come there on a field trip. The chef and co-owner and manager all discussed how the food is prepared with our students. The staff is very welcoming and treat people as close friends while still being professional. You dont just get a meal here they also are glad to answer questions about India culture. This is our go to India place from now on!

We went for the lunch buffet. So the good part: Samosas, tikki, bhajiya were pretty good, so was the biryani and naan. Non vegetarians in our group were quite happy with the meat dishes. However, buffet options are a little limited for vegetarians, especially the main course, which is why vegetarians could give the buffet a miss. And I wasnt too impressed with the dessert, gajar ka halwa. But on the whole the food was pretty good.

The one thing I have an issue with at Flavors of India is the lighting. They have some kind of issue with their lighting where they cant make it a nice atmosphere. Either its bright as a lab and you can see every crumb on the floor or its slightly flickering. I asked to have it turned down one night and every time he did, someone turned it back up. Its like the face of the sun in there.

This place is horrible...had stomach ache after having lunch buffet there. If you are a vegetarian, stay away! They charge $14 for nothing. The food kept in buffet is not fresh...this placed used to be good but after management change this is horrible now! Many of my colleagues also had stomach trouble after eating there..

I placed an order of Chicken biryani to go. Happy with response time. It took 30mts. Not satisfied with food quality for the price, boneless meat pieces were so hard gave a feeling if it was fully cooked or is it really fresh food. Looks like a mistake to order ...:-(

Food is good but worst service. We were little late one day for a lunch buffet and they were not interested to wait until we finish eating. Kind of hurrying and started closing the restaurant when eating. Dont know why cant they wait until we finish

We have been coming here for a few years now. The food is excellent as is the service - we have never had a bad experience! Lately we have been getting takeout - they really go the extra mile making sure even the takeout experience is great!

Very tasty hidden India restaurant. I was quite surprised with the quality and presentation of food. They also had a very good wine menu with some very nice options. Staff were very attentive and helpful. I will definitely return.

Excellent restaurant. Nice food, good quality, too much varieties, good service. In last 6 months, we went there almost 4+ times. Every time, we got something new & delicious. I would recommend everyone should try this at least once.

This is a great Indian restaurant! The service is always superb. The food is extremely tasty! It is the only place around to get a proper dosa. On the weekends, their buffet includes a good selection of chaat (street food).

I ordered Chicken Biriyani and Hyderabadi Chicken Curry last night. It was the worst Indian food. Biriyani is made as mixing cooked rice and chicken curry. Hyderbadi Chicken Curry is nothing but Hyderabadi. Dont waste money.

Food is fantastic. Service is quite good. Their lunch buffet is great. Flavors of India is slightly over-priced to me, but the quality of the food makes it well worth the price. We really need to go much more often than we do.

Weve had the buffet and the dinner. All the meats are always tender, juicy and delicious. The butter naan is amazing. Priced right for the quality of the food and the pleasant waiting staff. You cant go wrong.

Its been our go-to indian spot since moving to the area. The staff is friendly and the food is always good. Try the buffet if you get the chance as we have found so many new delicious curries that way.

Great tasty Indian food. Not too hot but well seasoned. Rich buffet . For the dessert, you find real fresh fruits as well as the known Indian dishes. Service is excellent. Pleasant ambient.
