Friendly little bar with surprisingly great food. Very reasonable prices, fast service, local hangout to watch a game or play some keno while drinking inexpensive beers and eating $10.99 pizzas! There are some surprises on the menu, yesterday a special was fruit flan with almonds and peaches (delicious cake, very unexpected at a bar restaurant) which we liked very much! Apps are tasty and come out quickly, again for better prices than I expected. Staff are great at tending bar and running food and beers to the tables if youre sitting at one, they tend to be by and ask if you need a new one before your beer is empty! The view is lovely and sitting outside (now that its warm enough) is possible as long as you dont mind being around the smokers catching their nicotine fix! Great place, hope it never closes.

Wish I couldve had the opportunity to know what their food tasted like. My son had soccer practice in the field across from scuttlebutts and since it was dinner time I decided to order food to go. Only ordered a crab cake sandwich and steak and cheese. Waited AN HOUR for these sandwiches and after all that time, thats when they decided to tell me they didnt have crabcakes. They werent even going to refund my money for the crab cake sandwich, are you kidding me?? 15 customers in there and they act like its mass hysteria. Went home hungry. Not enjoyable when youre 9 months pregnant. And its too late to cook anything or go somewhere else. Guess Ill try captain johns or shymanskys next time, but never again @ Scuttlebutts.
