The line was long, but moved very quickly. I ordered the crawfish bowl, Boss fries & crab cake. Note, Ive only had crawfish in New Orleans, & this was a Florida style seafood spot, so Ill still say the crawfish bowl was good, but I know that I like New Orleans style better now that Ive had Florida style. I did ask for the butter sauce on the side so that I could taste the fullness of the seafood (Im a foodie). I forgot to ask for the butter sauce on the side of the other dishes, & found it to be overbearing. The crab cake was made with backfin. I prefer jumbo lump or lump. The Boss fries were topped with backfin as well. Love that there is a new spot in Brandywine offering seafood, because it needs more diversity. I would definitely go again to support a black owned business. I think it would be great if they offered a crab cake with jumbo lump or lump in addition to the backfin crab cake (different price points of course). That way folks could decide which one they want if at all. Also, the staff is pretty heavy handed with the butter sauce, & seasoning. So if you arent sure, ask them to give you the butter sauce on the side & go light on the seasoning, because they do not ask you your preference. Lastly, I think it would be great if they had the front staff engage more with the customer, & ask them about those preferences (light seasoning or sauce...), & show them their order before closing the box & tying it in the bag. Pretty much everyone likes to would like an easy check/approval of their order before they leave. It was a nice visit over all... Theyve just got a few growing pains & service improvements to make much like any other new business.

5 stars for the food! Everything else is 3 stars. The food is Awesome! The portions are huge! The butter sauce is sooo Good and the seafood is tender, the lobster tail literally melted in my mouth. If you have no problem going to fancy restaurants and spending $30-$50 on a small portion meal then you shouldnt have any issues spending it here on a meal that Id filling and lasts 2 days depending on how you eat. However, the customer service needs work. My first time going here I figured it was smart to call in my order, good thing I did because the lady told me the Lil boss platter needed to be ordered 30 min in advance. I was fine with that! What I wasnt happy with was the fact I had to give my card number over the phone. So be prepared. Anyway, when I got in there it was packed. I asked for extra butter sauce and the lady told me it was $5 extra, for a little container so I said never mind. The customer service sucked, they werent really rude just very busy and not friendly. The 2nd time I went I called in and the lady told me my food would be ready in 10 min. I thought it was 30 min.? The girl said no, that wasnt right. Maybe it varies daily. I got there and it was crowded again and my order wasnt even ready yet. I waited 10 min. Always check your food!!! Because even after my wait they left a dish out of my order, so I had to wait some more, of course nothing was offered for my additiibal 20 min of waiting time on top of the 30 min I called ahead on. But again the food was worth it.

Discovered the tantalizing pictures on my Facebook timeline, and made it my business to drive from Germantown, MD to Brandywine...my stomach will take me far and wide for good food. My friend and I got there and waited patiently on the line (which was almost out the door ...aka a good sign that the food is good). The cashier was quite pleasant (sorry of forgot her name). Once we got our food, I inspected and for the *looks just like the picture* look, and we have a winner. Now let me tell you about this experience...BABY JESUS WAS A CRAB IN HIS PAST LIFE AND WAS REINCARNATED INTO THIS STYROFOAM BOX OF DELICIOUS GOODNESS. My only critique is that the seasoning on the shrimp comes off once you peel the shell...too bad they can be pre-shelled and soaked in the seasoning itself. Other than that, I absolutely enjoyed the meal...worth the distance and the money spent. I will definitely be back. Continued blessings and prosperity to the owners.

The first time we tried this place a few months ago, I would have given it 5 stars. On 5/6/17 we returned to enjoy the food again and OMG the disappointment!!! We spent $89 dollars. we were served the WORST crab cake Ive ever tasted. My husband thought I was being extra... until he tried it. It was ompletely unseasoned. The boss fries, also tasted unseasoned. There was seasoning and LOADS of butter on the crab legs, howver they were still not that good. The sides were disappointing and lastly, the service was pretty bad. The girl on the phobne sounded like she didnt want to be bothered with explaining what came the combos she was naming. ,anyway, needless to say... This was my last time going there. Anyone who I told should try this place, I will let them know not to waste their time if they havent already done so. #TheyCouldDoBetter

After all the hype, I finally decided to support this business today (6/30/17) and am disappointed with the portion and presentation of the food. The contact us number was consistently busy so, I had a friend go to the establishment and ordered the food. I ordered the Half Combo Platter and couldve been better suited eating my Friday night dinner elsewhere. 1.The Flavor is phenomenal 2. The Portion size for $20 is absurd...3 small crab legs, 8 shrimp, a half of boiled potato (which I was upset about because I thought I paid for and was getting "Cajun Potatoes") and a half of corn 3. Presentation left a little to be desired....the small amount of food simply appeared to be thrown in the container. Overall, I tried it and wont be purchasing from this establishment again. Good Luck with your endeavors and continued success!

By far the worst customer service I have received in a long time!!! Employees need to be trained on customer service immediately. However, the bigger issue is management!!! When there is terrible management, theres terrible service. I provided my card number 3 times to the representative, and each time she asked me to repeat the second group of numbers. I stated that I would just provide her with the entire card number over, being that it was memorized and since I was driving that was easier for me... she then states to another employee in the background "Im not listening to her... I didnt ask her for that". So unprofessional, and rude. When I arrived I spoke with the manager (older man), and he was just as rude... really didnt care. I visit this location 2 to 3 times a week; however, after today... Im done!

Honest Opinion...This seafood is like no other... Its worth the price... Food is quality... prices are as expected for this type of quality. I would recommend this to anyone that either has never tried seafood or is looking for good seafood. Ive been following the success of this business since my man was pulling up in a Tahoe with coolers in the back.. upgraded to vans.. Then next thing I know were sitting in his shack trying to get my daughter a job. I only give a 5***** rating because they dont let you 10. Good Stuff...
