The sandwiches werent bad, but theyre nothing to write home about. I ordered an Italian sub, the kid assembled the meat and cheese and put the bread on the toasters conveyor and...walked away. I saw him go straight to the bathroom. Some other people arrived and waited to order but it seemed abandoned when he left. Two other people working came out and their attitude seemed like they didnt enjoy working there. Im not expecting engaging conversation as someone completes my sandwich, but when youre moping and dragging your feet around, it certainly doesnt make me want to eat there. I took my stuff to go, and the sub tasted ok. I wouldnt say its better or worse than subway. Ill probably find somewhere else to go for lunch next time.

Potbelly at Bethesda was almost empty when I entered. Staffs were yelling at each other about orders and who should prepare it. I asked for multi-grain bread-verbally confirmed it as multigrain by the order-taker repeating it; another guy came to prepare the sandwich-the avocado he used was already bad-it looked brown, I asked him to use another avocado-he smiled and continued using the same avocado. Paid my bill-left unsatisfied. Opened my bag found White bread! Hah! Worst customer Service, sandwich was just below ok. Never going to visit any Potbelly ever again :(

Potbellys is an excellent place to eat. This particular location is getting 2 stars due to the atmosphere of the restaurant. Whenever you go into the place, there is someone wailing away at the front butchering top 40 songs at a ridiculous volume to the point that the person taking your order will barely be able to hear you. There are too many other good restaurant/fast food options in Bethesda to have to deal with this.

Good, cheap sandwiches. This is one of the slower Potbellys Ive been to and sometimes you have to tell the staff your order a few times for them to get it right. Not enough seating even though there is a decent amount of open space. Sometimes it seems like they add less meat and then pile on the lettuce to mask it.

I enjoy myself some Potbelly every now and again, but I think its absurd to pay an extra 50 cents to add cucumbers to your sandwich. But, at the end of the day, if I really want cukes, Im going to pay. Go early and beat the rush--think around 11:45. At noon, the line gets out of hand.

Potbelly is my preferred sandwich chain specially because of their toasted bread. This place get really crowd at lunch but the staff tries their best to get the line moving quickly, some days better than other.

Employees always seem to be in a good mood and pleasant. Line is short even if it looks long. Food is great, price is great. Try the Mushroom Melt with a coleslaw side! And of course the Baked Potato soup P:

While I was in line, they had to remake all of the sandwiches of the people ahead of me, because the employee who makes the initial sandwiches, had gotten EVERY order wrong. Fire the crackheads, potbelly.

I come for the food but dont come as often because they are extremely slow and kind of rude. You get what the sandwich maker feels like putting on your sandwich not what you request.
