Usually this place is solid. But lately theyve been doing bad service. They messed up the orders because theyre too busy to care during rush hour of lunch. And then I repeatedly ask them to fix the order or Ive said the order 3 times in crystal clear English to them. They dont do it and listen. Been in the service and I understand youre busy and everything but I paid my money to get a service that I really enjoy going to. I definitely dont want to continue to go to that service or this potbelly store. They dont even make the milkshakes like they are supposed to. The Orioles on lid or the cookies on the straw is the reason why i get a milkshake and probably best treat of it. But today for some odd reason I was dismissed and just handed him my shake without cookies or anything after I pay, not even a straw. I dont know what type of pot bellies operation this is running but every Potbelly I like to go to always does outstanding they need to fix this because Im definitely not going to the store

Potbelly is a reliable fresh sandwich but - I was SO PLEASED that they had live music, beginning 11:30 THIS MORNING!!! "Willie" (guy that has braids like, and tries to approximate the heavenly music that is Willie Nelsons) is a favorite of mine in the region. Was so tickled to see and here him there! Most chains like that wouldnt set that up. Yay Springfield Potbelly!!

Food was okay. 2 of the 3 employees were terrible! Ordered 6 sandwiches plus 6 milkshakes. 2 were supposed to be malts but werent. 3 were ready with the sandwiches, other 3 took 10 more minutes. Guy putting the topping on didnt listen, didnt make eye contact, was rude; I wont recommend and I wont go back . Try Firehouse or Subway.

I love the potbelly chain, but this one has disappointed me twice. It was empty when I went in there, but the service was so slow and apathetic, and I had to keep clarifying my order. The bread was stale and the ingredients tasted really old. Very disappointing experience all around. We wont be back. :(

Food is good but the live "music" is astonishingly terrible. I stopped coming here for lunch when their awful local "musicians" are there and advise you do the same. Sandwich Republic is across the street and has no awful live music to ruin your meal.
