The food was okay and the prices were good, but the service was AWFUL. Server was slow and extremely inattentive and unfamiliar with menu. Every time we asked a question about an item on the menu he said he didnt know the answer (and didnt try to find the answer from other staff, either). After happy hour ended the server told our table that we would have to order any additional drinks at the bar inside (we were sitting outside) as he didnt want to keep serving us drinks because hed have to tip the bartenders out. Tried to speak to a manger but one staff member told me there was no manager, another told me hed "find her" (but never did) and another told me to just talk to him but then provided little assistance. Server took 18% tip (we were a party of 8) but then didnt come by to pick up the card when I was ready to pay. Finally tracked down another staff member who closed us out. Ugh. Wont be returning.

Frankly, Scarlett does give a dam&!! - Went to Baltimore to see the Aquarium. While staying the night at the hotel we wanted a Vegan restaurant for the family (which includes a 2 and 4 yr old). We seated ourselves at a table that really had its own room with one other table. Our waitress Scarlett was great (attentive and nice) and brought out a Gluten Free (GF) menu to peruse as well. We had great vegan appetizers, vegetable sushi and a vegan dessert. The Mrs. enjoyed her wine and I really liked the sake sampler (I think there were 6 different cups of various sakes from the menu). I think its possible that overall the family had a better time at "Sticky Rice" than we did at the aquarium and that was really great as well. Dont be put off by the hippie atmosphere and decor. You get used to it and even start to appreciate it after your 3rd glass of sake.

Cool atmosphere & vibe. Great drinks and food, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Nestled in the heart of Fells Point, a great place to eat and hang out. They have a full menu but I cant get past the Godzirra roll. Its one of my favorite dishes in Baltimore. Try the lettuce wraps too. Totally kid friendly - you get crayons and wax bendy straws. Which is huge cause it keeps little minds occupied for the entire visit.( If you bring kids order a bucket of tater tots as soon as you can). If the weather is nice, try to sit outside and watch the city go by while you eat. At night, they have different game nights and regularly host local DJs so there is always something to do there. Be sure to check the chalkboards in the dining room and behind the bar for specials.

Its place is good but expensive for the size portions they give. My Friend and I ate lunch here yesterday, 2/14/12, and we ran a $75 bill. Now thats a lot of money for lunch. We had to order so much because portions were so small. Whatever we ordered was really good, but just small size. For example, we ordered summer sashimi, and it had some green salad and five small pices of tilapia. Yellow basil sashimi came in a small bowl, looked more like a little appetizer. The atmosphere was okay, more rustic than trendy. It was cold in there and our table was wobbly. Saki was good. I was pleased about everything but the money part, but again, it doesnt take a lot to please me.

I had been so excited to try Sticky Rice because of all of the vegan options. I have never seen a sushi restaurant with so many interesting choices for my chosen diet and I was looking forward to making this my regular go-to spot! However, all 3 in our group (including me) were extremely disappointed with the serving sizes. They were so tiny for the price charged and also the time we had to wait for our take-out to be ready. I got a spicy avocado roll and the avocado was crunchy like it wasnt ripe yet. Im super bummed because if they were a bit bigger my husband and I would probably eat here every time we wanted sushi or great Asian food.

Good food and staff. Ive not had a bad service yet over the years. Servers are attentive. Kitchen, sushi bar and drink bar people are consistently good. Dim ambiance with good music (a lot of 80s tunes) playing in the background. Weve only ever needed reservations on an event night. I like some of their specialty events like mixology classes and t-shirt bag making class. Classes are usually held upstairs so as not to interrupt dinner patrons and they usually serve good and drink for entry price but still allow you to order different items to bring up if you like.

Food is ok, nothing earth shattering. It lacked some balance. The coconut peanut was too heavy of a flavor and not a good combination of flavors. The waitress was amazing and very attentive. Having said that, the single most memorable and stand out event of the evening was the hostess. She was completely and utterly unhospitable. The concept of being a "host" was lost on her. She was nicer to other patrons, and it made me feel like perhaps there was a racial component to it. I dont know, but i felt completely unwelcomed and stigmatized.

Went for lunch. They had outdoor tables, but it was hot so we ate inside. Had the california roll as an app (with md crab), wife and I both liked it. Ordered the Singapore rice noodles (which is one of my favs), but the noodles were overcooked a bit and there was too much oil. My wife got the "dirty vegan" and liked it OK. Waitress was friendly and the place has a laidback atmosphere. Table were a little sticky, revealing a bar/restaurant orientation. Overall, too pricey for lunch considering what we got (no reduced price lunch menu).

I know Asian food very well, that place get nothing to do with Asian food. I ordered Dirty Vegan and it was very dry, it was pretty big portion and it suppose to have yellow curry sauce but it has very little sauce, thats why it was tasteless . I tried the same dish in Asian restaurants and the one I got in sticky rice is not even close. My friend ordered Sashimi and hamachi and she said it wasnt great, but she liked Sake.we had waited for the food about 25 min which is too long for the weekday especially the restaurant wasnt busy

This place has some really good fresh sushi at an affordable price. Place is really tiny so expect a wait. Came here the other day ordered a sushi burrito, tuna and spicy salmon rolls. Rolls took over 20 mins to make. The rolls themselves were stuffed with plenty of fish. Sushi burrito is wrapped in rice paper instead of seaweed. Total came out to around 25. They have a nice menu of vegan dishes included vegan sushi. There is plenty of street parking in the area. Ill be back to try their other rolls and cocktails

Sticky Rice is a pretty run of the mill pan-Asian restaurant. Offerings are standard: edamame, summer rolls, dumplings, the usual sushi maki rolls and hot dishes. There is a decent sake selection, which while not incredibly diverse does offer decent options. Service is friendly if occasionally distracted and MIA; dont expect to rush in and out. While neither unique nor gourmet, Sticky Rice is a fun place to pop in for a bite with friends. Keep your expectations reasonably calibrated and youll fare well.
