The food was tasty, but its a bit awkward being the only customer in the place. Hopefully more customers go there for lunch and on weekends! The menu skews more lunch, but since I was there around 10, I got eggs done sunny side up and two sides: wheat toast and chicken lemongrass sausage. The sausage was delicious, garnished with a bit of pickled onions. The eggs also had a little bit of chive garnish on it. I liked that the sides included some unique options: plantains, sweet potatoes, etc. I also like that this diner has iced coffee - not coffee with ice on it, but actual cold coffee. I found the service good, but maybe a little unpolished. I was asked if I want anything else, asked if I want hot sauce rather than just placing condiments on the table. Overall, I liked this place and would recommend it...and I hope they have more customers and stick around!

First of all, its called New America Diner and Bar not New American cafe. Secondly, its the best DINER around. Get it together Google. Hands down, best blueberry glazed donut Ive had. The server, Shane, was very helpful and accommodating. He asked us what we wanted to listen to and we got to choose the music during our stay. He also hand made the lemon ginger tea to perfection. Five stars. Will be back asap.

Cute place! Had Sunday breakfast there, the doughnut and biscuit were incredible. Coffee also very good. Has a very nice, laid back atmosphere. I wish it opened a little earlier, Id gladly get breakfast before I go to church across the street almost every week! In the pictures are the Dandelion Tartine and the Mushroom Biscuits and Gravy. This place is vegetarian friendly for sure.

The food service can be a *little* slow however its a friendly establishment and the menu is light, freshly prepared, and always delicious (the Brunch Burger is a personal fave) - so its well worth the wait! My girlfriend and I just moved into an apartment across the street, weve visited five times, and each trip has been amazing! Highly recommended!

Fantastic brunch spot with a small, tasty menu that always has new options. Love the mix of standard and inventive breakfast fare. The cinnamon bun is seriously out of this world. Staff is warm and welcoming. Great place to start your day!

Awesome place with a classic diner vibe - cool mid-century furniture, checkered floor, counter area. Food is excellent. The menu changes often, its not the kind of diner with a million things on the menu. Friendly service. Casual vibe.
