Not ok. Waited 50 minutes just for the two burgers (the Star Boy) it was cold. They obviously left the burgers on a hot plate. One friend asked to have it heated back up and when they brought it back said "make sure its good for you so I have a reason to have walked back there" then said "cool" when my friend said it was alright. The bun was very dry. I only ate mine because I was starving. My other friends dishes took 15 minutes longer. Afterwards the cook asked us how it was and was very... menacing about it. Like he messed with our food. When we said it was disappointing he didnt give much of a reaction. We asked for a discount and got 20% but really wasnt enough. Im not one to complain a lot. As long as I get my food in at least 30 minutes. The server said "Im sorry this was an awful experience, it really has been bad service on my part" and I thought that was nice and all I just dont get how it got to that point. This was late at night, so I get it. Ive worked in the service industry. But this was just bad. At least at McDonalds you know what youre getting.

I wanted to like this place so much. The inside is amazing! Its all old pulp sci-fi decorations and I loved the vibe. The service was not good and the wait time was absurd. There was one other party when we arrived and two other parties when we left. Thats a total of three groups of people or probably 8-10 total people. My table ordered a cheeseburger, a hotdog with fries, and chili fries. It took them a full hour to get our order to us. Were they slaughtering the cow for the burger? What the heck? It would have been a little better if the server had been attentive but even with 2 waiters for 3 tables I didnt get offered a refill of my drink once throughout the wait or the meal and neither did the others at my table. To top it all off, the food wasnt good. I would go back if everything but the decoration was changed. I wanted to like this place so much and the only reason I am giving it 2 starts not 1 is because of the interior.

After some wait, found out Lost City had in fact re-opened. After reading a couple reviews, I decided to give her a try. The decor was no disappointment. I couldnt stop gazing around the joint taking in all the interesting details. Definitely an experience, and for me, had a lasting impression. Everything from the colorful comic book posters to the lighting to the vintage feel seemed meticulously constructed. I got the house salad with chicken and my girlfriend got the Cincinnati Chili. Both were excellent and a value for the price. Since we were in a diner with soda bar, I also had an apple juice fizz and she had the New York egg cream. Both really good. In addition, the coffee was fresh and good "DINER" coffee. This place is not gourmet by any means. Its a diner. A good diner! Our experience was terrific!! We will def go again as there are many things we want to try.

Ive been here about 4 times just because they have vegan food haha, but 3/4 times weve been here though the service was awful. We thought at first it was just us. But the woman with long dark hair and pale made a snarky comment when we decided to go somewhere else since they were out of vegan cheese and well I just wanted a certain meal there that was mostly good because of the vegan cheese but for the prices they charge... wasnt worth the money. Then last night this woman by herself with short hair and glasses had an awful attitude. I partially couldnt blame her but she was throwing stuff and treating people like garbage honestly. Like sure working food service by yourself like that is really unfair, but the customers didnt do anything to you. Its not really worth the trip over all anymore.

Where else can a vegan go to get greasy diner food and milkshakes. The onion rings were fantastic. The cheeseburger with bacon and chili was an absolute, if messy, delight. I heard squeals of delight from the omnivores a few tables away as they dug into their carnivorous feast. I cant say that the tempeh bacon was amazing, it really didnt stand out, but the meal itself was great. The decor was definitely sci-fi pulp, but with standard diner bar and booths. The music was delightfully familiar. The server we had was showing that shed worked a double that day and was waiting for the night to end. We had some trouble getting her attention, but we received the other servers help in this, and werent feeling neglected.

We went there today at lunch time. Nice scenery and decor. Easy to get a table. The food was okay, not terrible. The service was extremely poor. I was shocked this is an actual restaurant in Baltimore. Its not up to Baltimore City service. Our server didnt refill our drinks. He was too busy flirting with a girl to make 2 milkshakes. He forgot and had to be reminded. He only gave us one fork and knife. There were three of us. Everytime we tried to get his attention, he would turn his back. Not to mention, he took a seat in the back and was counting his tips when we had already ask for the check. 15 minutes later, we finally received our check. Extremely disappointed. I will not be returning.

Nice Diner. I enjoyed my meal. That didnt have many vegan options available that were listed on the menu. Our waitress was understanding with us but could we were frustrated. Luckily, I eat white meat occasionally so they were able to accommodate and make me with a Philly Chicken Sandwich, which, by the way was delicious. My sisters were with me and the waitress kept forgetting to bring items along with bringing dirty forks. For desert we had the Big Bang. Also, delicious. Overall, food was great, if you could find something that was available on the menu. However, it is disappointing that a place that states is vegan friendly isnt able to provide the options advertised.

Eclectic food paired with a space/sci fi decor. The menu is what I think of as modern Californian, favoring fresh and light ingredients. Burgers are featured prominently, but they also serve sandwiches, salads, and finger foods. The food was served diner style on simple plates or baskets. The food was good, and the smokey chipotle sauce was very memorable. Extra points for offering many of their dishes vegan style. I will be back here when Im next in Baltimore to explore more of their menu. I should also note that this place seems to be a favorite of local college students seeking respite from campus food...

Seriously awesome place with great staff and a pretty neat vibe. The only downside is that the place doesnt exactly have a lot of seating nor is it super fast to get food out. They make up for the speed with the awesome staff that continually brings coffee and water to the table without even asking and food quality. I think we had four or five refills during our time there. The actual food they serve is delicious and even the presentation is great compared to what youd expect at a diner. They have so many options it is almost overwhelming but it guarantees that youll find something to eat.
