I was here for the buffet lunch and I really loved it, every thing on the menu was delicious and they have amazing customer service, people are so sweet and professional, I have been to so many indian restaurants but "Basmati" have the tastiest food and best customer service. I really recommend this place to any one who is looking for Indian food. Most of my friends and colleagues order online and every one agrees that they deliver the food on time, fresh and delicious, I spoke to owner every time I was in basmati trust me he is a cool guy. Also forgot to mention they have wide range of bar menu, you name it they have it !!!

Food is so good but service is very poor. We waited 1.5 for our food. We ordered my kids food with our appetizer but they had to wait for over an hour. If we had to wait b/c they were very busy, I can understand that part but others food came first even though they came after us. We have to remind them that we also have order other things that should be bring with it but again its will take another 20-30 minutes. This was our 2nd time there but no more. We wont go there ever again.

My favorite Indian food in Annapolis. The ambiance, the service and the food are all wonderful. The only thing I would ask is that lunch buffet be extended to 2:30p as I like to avoid the lunch time rush and eat later especially since this restaurant is becoming increasingly more popular. I would also suggest expanding the buffet to dinner time as I am a big fan of sampling various dishes.

Warning ! My wife, our good friend and I were poisoned! The food was loaded with MSG and Salt. I had chest pains all night. My wifes blood pressure was 171/108. She never has High Blood Pressure. We could not sleep and all of us spent the night urinating after drinking quarts of water due to extreme thirst. You have been warned.

Best Indian food in the Annapolis area. Chicken Tikka Masala is my wife and kids favorite. I like the chicken madras and shik kabob. Vegetable samosas are excellent. Paratha bread is my favorite. Prices are very reasonable. They have a lunch buffet for $12.95 every day. Very good with lots of choices both vegetarian and meat.

There was a time when this restaurant was quite nice, but it has seriously regressed in service. The last straw for me was being micro-managed while at the buffet, then being told that I cant put too much of one item on my plate. If youre looking for a great Indian restaurant, there are others in the area.

We love dining here! The made-to-order food is fantastic, as you can personalize the spice level (I like spicier), and even the weekend buffet is very tasty with a good selection of options for a reasonable price. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Punjabi Khadi, Garlic Naan, and so many other things are great!!

Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and staff. They have great non-vegitarian dishes and amazing sauces! I could eat an entire cup of their hot sauce! If youre looking for a change of pace from our American FATTENING foods, Basmati is the place to go for a lean and delicious meal.

Good food; weve been both for the lunch buffet as well as dinner and were very pleased. Good wait staff, attentive and kind. Ample size servings, both my husband and I had take home boxes. Went on a Friday night at 7 and no wait but the dining room filled up pretty well behind us.

We enjoy having dinner here. They have very good food, a nice atmosphere and a very good wait staff. We especially enjoy the vegetable dishes and the tandoori sampler. Its nice that we no longer have to leave Annapolis to get really good vegetarian Indian food.

I took my wife out on a date there. The place is very elegant; with double white and black table cloths. Four waiters were serving us dinner. Food was awesome and reasonably priced. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere - perfect for a lovely evening...

The food here is excellent. Been here for dinner and the lunch buffet. The lunch buffet is an all you can eat amazing value. The decor is nice and staff was friendly. The menu prices are a little high but not bad and has many options.
