I am of Southeast Asian heritage and my tastebuds are very much so. Where I come from we eat lots of different types of noodle prepared many different ways. So Im no stranger to well prepared noodles dishes...including ramen. The day I paid a visit, I had a bad craving and made a conscious trip out to try Tenten Ramen. They are located right next to the USAA bank, on the corner directly behind Mission Barbeque and Dock St Bar & Grill. When I walked in I was pleasantly greeted by the staff in the traditional Japanese welcome "irasha-i". I sat at the long counter parallel to the small kitchen and my cheerful server got me a menu. She was quite knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations. I ended up going with the Shoyu because I wanted porkbelly badly and opted for extra ground pork. When my steaming bowl arrived, the server knowing I wanted to add the spicy option gave me a special chilli paste on the side so I could adjust the spice level to my satisfaction. The noodles were a good slightly chewy texture and the broth was substantial with a well seasoned flavor. Some of the ingredients such as the seasoned egg were cold and needed to be mixed in with the broth and noodles. That is quite the norm for serving ramen that most people dont know, but I think the staff could been better briefed about advising their customers to mix the ingredients well upon being served. I ended up with broth left over so I asked for extra noodles ($3.50) and they gave me a to-go container for my leftovers. I struck up a brief conversation with my server and found out that the shop had only been open for about 9 months. Kudos! The shop was well lit & had a nice "little ramen shop in Tokyo" feel to it complete with 2 pachenko machines decorating one wall and Pokemon playing on the flat screen in the corner. I had a chance to talk to some other patrons who ordered Ramune (type of Japanese soda) who sat at the same counter which i later found out were regulars. All in all, I think this place is here to stay. Its a great little local authentic joint and will be coming back hopefully with friends in tow!

Okay so everything was just wrong, I have restaurant/ramen experience and to be honest they are an open shop just to say Annapolis now has a ramen shop. Lets start with the broth, they went to Safeway to buy a can of broth then seasoned with a lot of sesame oil and a dash of vinegar. The noodle itself was really bad quality and does not meet the expected standard for ramen noodles. The chasu down did not taste like it was marinated, it was then grilled instead of being braised...... And chasu is suppose to be pork but it tasted like really cheap Panda Express chicken. Rice was cooked with too much water where it was soggy.

Not for high expectations but good for a quick bite of Japanese Ramen and Soup. After looking through the bad reviews, decided to try this place out. Staff had improved and was welcoming even when they are full house, telling you the expected wait time. The time i waited for was for the food. Small place and chefs looked to be taking their own sweet time cooking. Ordered the Tokyo Classic, Food was Ok for an Asian like me with experience. The eggs were good but the broth was a little light and the meat was not hot. Price matched the quality of food though hence the 3 star rating!

I thought it was like eh. Wont be going back. Wasnt spicy even after paying an extra $1 for the spicy paste sauce. It wasnt even the real spicy paste you usually get from other Ramen places. I only got 1 piece of pork (other typical places provide 3). They are expensive for the little amount of noodles an meat they provide. They didnt have any pork gyoza or rice for the kimchi. Quite lackluster. An for some reason there were no Asians making the food just Hispanics. Quite upsetting

Friendly staff. However the food is questionable. The kimchi that came with the pork belly bun smelled spoiled. The soy braised egg was cold in the York part. Its $1.5 extra for corn which they prob just give you one spoon full. Small portion. I saw the cook from the kitchen stick the seaweed into the bowl right before it came out with his/her hands. Also they do not offer straws and ice at the restaurant. Good luck.

Very tasty Japanese pickles. Nice veggie ramen which has a nice selection of vegetables. Broth was a bit on the bland side and I thought there could have been a bit more of it for the quantity of noodles and vegetables. There interior of the restaurant is simple and pleasant with lots of light.

We just moved here from Japan and this is good ramen to replace what were missing in Japan. The staff was friendly, quick to respond, and food came out in good timing. Felt like Japan and we loved hearing "Arigato Gozaymas" as we left. Only complaint would be the lack of gyoza.

Right when I walked in, it seemed as if I was inconveniencing the staff. Signs on the table said eat quickly-- wouldnt be an issue if the food was good, but it was very underwhelming as I hurried to finish (per restaurant policy). Will never go back!

The ramen here was nothing special. There is extremely limited seating and soda is served by the can. The ramen choices were limited and the broth tasted too salty without enough toppings. Service could have used some work too.

Chashu is either undercooked or overcooked (only 1 of 6 pieces was cooked properly. They also ran out of eggs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That being said, the broth was incredible and the one egg I got was delicious

The food was well prepared, but a bit bland at times. This might have just been because I hadnt had real ramen before so my ordering wasnt to my tastes. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Pleasantly Surprised! My husband is usually the ramen fan in our family but I was really craving some good broth. Ordered the Hatcho Miso - every bite was delicious.

Nice clean spot. Its cozy. The ramen is awesome and filling for the price. Get really busy on the weekends so get there early if you want a seat. Love it there

Service was bad. Anytime you go into a restaurant that has signs on the tables telling you to eat quickly so you can leave faster, you should just leave.

Great authentic ramen, but a bit expensive. The portions are too small without extra noodles and adding extra noodles makes a single meal cost around $17

Place was very good! However I would recommend they give slightly more broth per bowl. Otherwise ask for more broth.
