Talk about a stunner, I thought this would be just another comfortable diner...Wow was I way off! Four of us on a venture ended up passing it and turning around because we were looking for something reasonably priced and not over the top..The price...PERFECT! The portions...massive (of course they do have smaller ones and ones for the kiddies too). The Potato and Chicken soup was superb! The Brunswick burger massive! My friends omelet..stuffed like a chicken full of peppers, onions, ham, cheese...the works! A plate of spaghetti with that side of texas toast and a funny looking friend with a red face enjoying his lunch! I cannot stress enough the wonderful service and the fun we had! It was small, but comfortable. The juke box playing, with the cooks singing a little Ritchie Valens! The Peanut butter cream pie...I had a little nibble, but I watched my friends eyes roll into the backs of their heads as they tasted a little slice of heavenly pie. The two women went above and beyond their call of duty to ensure we had a wonderful time, and we did. Thank you so much. We will see you again!!

Very cute atmosphere, classic dinner décor. The service was spot on all the waitresses were very attentive and friendly. The food was great I had the chubby checker combo the pancakes were fluffy and they cooked my bacon well done just like I asked. My boyfriend had the biscuits and sausage gravy and WOW was it good! The gravy was rich, flavorful and had a little kick to it which was unexpected but awesome! Plus the biscuits were light and just melt in your mouth yummmm! Only one complaint, the place was packed when we got there (which is a good thing) but we wound up sitting at the counter and those stools were really uncomfortable. Plus there wasnt enough leg room under the counter so sat at an angle the whole time. Would definitely go again if I could sit at a booth.

No one welcomed us when we came in the door, we found a spot at the bar and our server seemed like she could care less if we were there and couldnt even set our coffees in front of us, she just plopped them down and ran off. No water as I had asked for and by the time we got our food which took a while, the clams tasted horrible and not fresh and before we had even finished half of our meals the server brought us our check. We said, "well I guess we arent getting dessert". No smile, no feeling of being welcomed into a comfortable environment. We couldnt wait to leave. I remember when this restaurant was so fun to go to. Not so much anymore.

I absolutely LOVE the Brunswick Diner. I come from the home of diners- Worcester, MA- where we have some of the best diners. We just moved to Maine and were dying to find a good place to eat. The Brunswick Diner really does have the best lobster rolls, great burgers, fries, fish sandwiches, and service. The waitress was so sweet and friendly and funny and the food came out fast and hot. The place is always packed because it is THAT DELICIOUS. The Brunswick Diner Burger is the best!!!! Its so moist and dripping with cheese and mushrooms. Exactly what you would want when you go to get diner food. Did I mention the service was GREAT??

They covered basic stuff, burgers, sandwiches, etc. Fries, however, seemed like they came straight from a frozen store brand bag. The waitress was very rude, and angry that I used a penny when giving her a $3.16 tip, so much that she approached me while I was in my car, gave me the penny back, then flipped me off as she walked away. The only decent thing is the decor, which is still questionable. Its obvious the table jukeboxes dont work, but they shouldve made it so kids dont put quarters in it, which happened to the boy sitting in the booth next to me.

Our family saw a rat run out of the kitchen here, then huddle a minute and run right back in! Too astonished and disgusted to say anything, we just paid for our lunch and left! Tourists, nobody "raves" about this place. Its not famous, not a local favorite, just a few regulars like youd find anywhere. The lobster roll is no big deal at all. Many restaurants carry the same or far better. I dont mean to be unkind or unfair at all - this is a barely so-so and obviously filthy place. Very poor quality food and fake-flavored food.

We were passing through from a couple days Downeast, stopped for lunch. Had the Funky Chicken Salad Sandwich, not worth the money. Waitress was rude, not only to us but the couple visiting "she added gratuity because she got 30 cents on a thirty dollar tab" from a previuus table. She was too busy to be bothered by customers. Table behind us had to get their own drinks. We had to ask for refills as did the first couple. At 2.89 for a cup of coffee, you shouldnt be stingy with it.

I was in town for the Bowdowin music festival and I was craving some pankakes one morning and this place delivered. Simple diner, no frills decor, kinda weak coffee(but I expected that), and good simple hearty food. The service was ok and the food was good. Dont go here if you want a fancy or Shi-shi diner experience go here if you want a solid diner with solid food

Everyone in town raves about this place but I dont get it. Had a Reuben for lunch with a cup of chowder. Sandwich was passable. Chowder the best item I tried. Girlfriend ordered a salad which was, essentially, salad in a bag with a piece of grilled chicken. Unimpressive. Definitely not the worst dining in the area but nothing we are rushing back to.

This is a classic small diner, reasonably priced, with a working Wurlitzer jukebox system. The food and service are good. Theres an outside seating area, weather permitting, and a low cost daily special from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Payment is cash only but they do have an ATM next to the jukebox.

Good food at a great price. Friendly service, always welcoming to us, smiling and The locals and regulars who frequent the diner are great to, on more then one occasion someone has moved from their booth to the counter to allow our family (one young child) to sit.

Great breakfast food always, not too greasy the way some diners make it. Good place to go late nights when its open overnight (Friday and Saturday 24 hours, I believe). Go during an off time and you can be in and out with a full stomach in under 40 minutes.

terrible service, long wait for simple breakfasts, got the bill before the food which is when the waitress realized she needed to get us our food, no butter, cold food once it came, one the worst places I have been in, honestly.

Wonderful food and fantastic service. There was only one waitress and the place was full. Not one complaint from her the whole time. If we are in the area again we will stop in for sure. You should too!!
