We entered the restaurant, and waited to be seated as the sign requested. The "hostess" finished her conversation with another employee before approaching and greeting us. Once seated, we waited upwards of 10 minutes before our waitress arrived at table. Other wait staff kept looking our way, but no one approached. No one let us know someone would be right with us. We were was seconds away from leaving when the waitress presented herself. The restaurant was not overly busy at this time. We ordered our food right away. Many minutes later, the waitress came back by and mentioned that our food should be ready soon. We waited another few minutes and our food came out. My husbands french fries were luke warm at best. He ordered chicken fingers. My meal was average. I ordered a wrap. After we ate, we asked for the check, and my husband asked for a dessert to go. A few minutes later, the waitress brought the check and didnt include the dessert... husband asked her again for the to go dessert. Waitress left, came back with new check and to go box. Waitress was very flighty. Food average. Dont see myself returning anytime soon.

Coach House is probably my favorite home style restaurant in the area. Ive been going there a long time and both my wife and I know many of the staff. They are pleasant and helpful. You are seated as quickly as possible and with your needs in mind. The food is home style and so far I havent had anything I didnt like. My personal favorite comfort meal is the Pork Cutlets . . . delicious. Their salads are always fresh. Breakfast offers a wide variety including their own Corned Beef Hash and Eggs Benedict done in a number of ways. The prices are very reasonable. They have no bar, but do offer alcohol. They have counter seating in the front next to the registers. They also have a three general seating areas, one that would allow for group meetings. In fact, I have attended meetings at the Coach House. They do a great job with groups. I highly recommend the Coach House to anyone.

Seems to be kind of like a family restaurant when I went in there it was pretty informal the food was good quantity and it was not pretentious. I went in on Monday for a late lunch and it seems like all of their customers for senior citizens. But in the evenings and on weekends they have families with children For dinner I had their homemade shepherds pie and I elected to have apple sauce on the side and instead of getting a little tiny dish of applesauce I got a substantial dish of applesauce Seems to be visited by locals and people when they are here seem to be happy of course its off season now who knows what it will look like in season

The food was decent, the price was average! The service was their down fall. We were passed by several waitresses and finally was approached just to be told she would be right back. We had already sat there for 10 minutes being ignored. Then instead of taking our drink order, she went around filling up coffee refills! Finally..... we got to order drinks. When she came back with those we made sure to order our food asap, we didnt know if we would ever get another chance! She was an older blonde woman. Very large and kind of loud but crappy service!

the burgers were overcooked, the fries were just legal - the corn chowder tasted homemade, i liked it. the specials menu said tomato soup, but it meant beef barley, wtf. i had to change my order last minute and wound up with a Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato sandwich. two strips of bacon? TWO!? in 2015?! cmon guys. the pot roast sandwich was bone dry, and my friend had to resort to dunking it in his coffee to get it down (not kidding). on the plus side, the coffee was good and the coleslaw was probably the best restaurant slaw ive ever had.

Their online menu page sux, its all Images, you cant Ctrl+F or search it in any smart way. The food is good, if you can get an order that isnt screwed up every flipping time. In Brewer Maine, this is the only normal restaurant, with burgers, sea food, and breakfast. This is the Third time our order has been messed up, and I personally will not be returning. To be fair, when I have called them, they will fix their mistake, and give you a coupon, but I would prefer they just pay attention to the details the first time around.

Good food, friendly people, usually pretty quick service. I eat here often when I am in town for work. The specials are often things that are not on the menu but are like hidden gems. cheaper than Ruby Tuesdays down the street and I think the food is better. Edit: now that it is several months after writing this review and as I am sitting and yet another will known coastal seafood place in another state, I have come to realize that this place has the best stuffed mushrooms I have ever found.

Got there first thing in the morning right when they opened at 530 today 7/11/17. Would have suspected better quality food with their reputation but unfortunately the food was bland, toast over cooked, cinnamon roll was dry... Didnt seem like anything was fresh... the service was good though. Wish the Coffee Break restaurant in Hampden opened earlier then 7!

Decent, friendly service and the best cheeseburger Ive EVER had. Visited in October 2014 when I was staying at the Vacationland Inn next door. Felt a little out of place being a 20-something who was a good 30-40 years younger than most of the clientele, but that didnt really matter in the end. Did I mention it was the best cheeseburger Ive ever had?

First time to ever eat there and will never return again. We had pancakes and sausage and eggs... you couldnt even cut into the pancakes with a steak knife....and everything was cold ...we actually sat for 7 minutes before anyone even greated our table ! Yes it was slightly busy but still no excuse for cold food.

Love it here. My boyfriend and I usually stop in for breakfast about once a week. Love love love their breakfast menu. Basic home cooking. Fast and friendly service. Were not as fond of their lunch/dinner menu but its still good and very reasonably priced. Awesome homemade deserts, as well!

A dying breed....the small, family-run eatery with simple, old-fashioned home-made food. Great burgers, french fries that should be illegal, the best home-made beef gravy I have ever tasted, and a huge selection of made-from-scratch pies to die for. May it always be in Brewer.

After a long day at Acadia and Cadillac , this was right on our way home and right near our hotel. The specials were large portioned and delicious. Hope to stop by this place again before we leave.
