I am so sad to write this review. It has been a couple years since I had been here and was excited to come back as it will be my last time staying in the area and I have fond memories from family vacations spent at car shows and fourwheeling trips at the blast from the past. When we showed up at lunch after riding the fourwheelers trails all afternoon I told my husband order anything its all good here as I had never had a bad experience here. I was so excited to share this place with him.... We ordered an app of onion rings and I ordered the country fried chicken with a ceasor salad and mash potatos and my husband ordered the philie cheese steak wrap. First to come out was my salad. I thought it a little odd as it was one of my sides and our app hadnt come out yet. So my husband watched me eat my salad while he had nothing and it seemed oh then my teeth started to grind and I wasnt sure why until i got to the bottom of my salad and there was grit from obviously dirty lettuce at the bottom of my bowl. Next to come out was our food my husband wrap and my chicken and mash. My husband asked where the app was and the waitress seemed nervous and when she came back said it would be 3 more minutes. We started out lunch and i had to remove the rediculous amount of gravy on my chicken. The chicken itself was moist but something was off my be I was still but off by my salad. I asked my husband how his wrap was and he said it was bland and had no flavor. My stomach sank. When our app finally came my god Ive Never seen onion ring so over cooked absolutly discusting they where almost black. I know what your thinking, what about your mash potatoes. They where lumpy but not horrible could have used more cream or milk. I added some of my copious amounts of gravy to them and it didnt do anything at all for them. At this point I was honestly embaressed and just wanted to leave.I had told my husband The Blast From The Past was great and to order anything and that it was all good food the best mom could make even better. Ive never been so ashamed and embaressed. I honestly dont no why we got a to go box because when we got back we tossed it immediatly. If you want any of the meals I mentioned above I could make it in my sleep better. There is obvious problems with food being but out in the correct order and quality control. On a posative not the pickles and lemonade was good....

Well, it started with listening to the cook staff complain folks were coming in 1 hour before closing, suggesting they should lock the door and shut off the lights. From there the totally mixed up order with both a baked potato and mashed, peas & coleslaw. the peas and mashed were not ordered, the mediocre at best country fried steak and topped off with the 1/2 inch of grounds in the bottom of my coffee which I was spitting out for about an hour. The only thing the wait staff offered in an apology was the statement that the extra mashed and peas were free. We wont be back.

I will say that the food was good for the most part and our waitress was very polite. I found a hair in my salad and brought it to the attention of the waitress. She asked if I wanted another salad and I declined. What upsets me is that we still had to pay full price for our meal. As a former owner of two restaurants, I would never have made the customer pay full price if this happened. Honestly dont think I will be going back.

Waitress was curt and preoccupied despite there being three guests. Food was priced reasonably. Food came out quick, but it stayed on the cooks counter while the server cleaned out syrup and looked out the window. And an honest warning, dont get the juice. Comes from a machine and you can taste that it hasnt been clean. Stick with the auto mile diner down the street

Best onion rings this side of the Mississippi! Everything on the menu is perfect for small town comfort food. They serve breakfast till 1pm and the specials are delicious. If you are in the area this place is a must visit. I highly recommend coming after the lunch crowd when its nice and quite so you can hear the jukebox.

Went to Breakfast, I wanted 3 eggs, 2 over easy & 1 scrambled. No can do the waitress said, all have to be the same. It wasnt crowded or anything, about a dozen other diners. Petty sad when you go to a diner for breakfast and cant have your eggs the way you want them.. I wont go back.

I am being generous.. Simple burger although big , meat had a funny taste , fries greasy , my friend and I left more than half on our plate it was so bad. The server saw this, never asked ? was there something wrong ? No she took our plats and said dessert ? Never going back .

The place wasnt very clean (my utensils were dirty), the waitress didnt really check in on us. The wait for the food was an hour. And there was only one other couple there. The food in general was very poor. Not only was it cold but it wasnt very flavorful.

Arrived just before closing with a group of 7. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Food served quickly. Prices reasonable. They cook burgers to your request. Unbelievably good milkshakes (we had chocolate, blueberry and PEANUTBUTTER!!)!

Portions are okay. Takes 20 minutes for a burger when there was only 2 other booths with patrons. Service was lackluster. The saving grace is the decor and the 50s theme. Better off going to Friendlys and playing Pandora.

Horrible! Unsweetened tea with no lemon was tea flavored lemonade and a slice of lemon! Blt had 2 small pieces of bacon! Krinkle cut fries were disappointing!

Ate here on our family trip to the movies.. Kinda last minute find, and oh what a find awesome home cooked food.... Everything was freshand delicious

They put sliced hotdog in my omlet and cqlled it polish sausage. The pancakes were the consistency of elmers glue. Very disappointing!

The only thing I want to ask the chef is what kind of microwave did he use. No wonder the food is cheap, its trash.
