Terrible. Went on a not-so-bust night at 830pm. First it took 30 minutes for our nachos to come out. Yeah, NACHOS... And without any explanation or WARNING that it was gonna be a little while. Another table got their app before us. When our food finally arrived--45 minutes after we ordered--I was handed the wrong food. I ordered the chicken and waffles, but was handed the fried chicken dinner. I let the waitress know that it wasnt chicken and waffles. She insisted it was, told me the mashed potatoes on the bottom of the dish was "considered like the waffle part", and continued to get a menu to read off the description of the entree. She showed me it word for word 3 times... "spiced chicken on top of BUTTERMILK WAFFLE..." then paused for a second, and went to talk to the manager. The manager told me she was sorry and that they recently changed the menu and the chicken and waffles were no longer available and that I had the "old menu" with that entree still on. Mind you my friend had the same menu AND the resteraunt had that same menu posted on the outside of the door! So I ordered the lobster dinner--the corn on the cob was undercooked. Trying to be nice and understanding, my friend and I told them everything was "no problem dont worry about it". Before we were given the bill as I asked for a slice of blueberry pie to go. She said "sure!". You would figure for our troubles they would take something off the bill, or give us a discount. Nope. 10 minutes later--after walking back and forth helping other customers as she eyeballed our bill--the waitress asked if we were all set. Had to remind her I asked for blueberry pie to go...... She got it, gave it, and we got the hell out of there... How can you make that many mistakes with the same table.

Figured I would give this place a try since it looks new and was packed. It took over another spot that sat here and the inside is totally redone, with some pretty cool wood furnished booths and a nice wood bar plus some cool lighting. Place was mobbed but we were seated in about 30 minutes. The staff was as quick as they could be but the kitchen was slow I think so the food took extra time. Menu here is pretty good with some really creative dishes and drink selection, especially for summer. Disappointed they ran out of sangria but the Coconut rum mojito hit the spot. Ordered a short rib appetizer which was delicious and the sirloin Chili I ordered was also pretty good. They also had a small kids menu and even the kids burger and fries tasted pretty good. Prices are about right and only complaint was really slow delivery of appetizers and food but in all a good meal.

Another in a long line of cute coastal dining spots. We went there for the quinoa burger (has egg and Parmesan in it) but ended up having the Thai red curry (& PBJ sandwich). The curry was awesome. Best red curry weve ever had. We also had the hummus, it was runny and tasted kind of funny. Mentioned this to the waitress who genuinely seemed concerned and said shed mention it to the back of the house. I wanted to give this place 4 stars but just cant bring myself to it because service in all aspects is as important as the food. We were drawn in by the hostess as we were looking at the menu outside. We could have just kept on walking. She said all the green leafs indicate items that can be vegetarian/vegan, looked like a lot of options (lot for us anyway, 4), so sure we did. I wished they had. Lots of quinoa burger recipes without allergens like egg in it out there.

First time eating there, the braised beef/cheese sandwich was phenominal. Second time eating there, the make your own burger had a bite taken out of it. Not the bun, just the burger. Good thing i checked under the bun! Not sure if this is common practice to check whether the food is cooked to order, but it sure did sicken our stomach. Of course it was denied. No one could finish their meal. The young girl, not our waitress-she never appeared again, tried to apologize and was willing to forgive our bill. I was so angry and upset, we paid for what we ordered and left. Never did the manager make an appearance. I will not ever eat there again nor do i recommend eating there.

The tap list was incredible and well thought out but the appetizers could use some work. We came here after dinner for some drinks and stuff to nibble on and ordered the hummus and cheese plate. The humus was really liquidity, almost like a soup while the cheese plate was less than generous only a few slices of two cheeses with a bunch of subpar deli meats, a grilled whole clove of garlic, and a patte that tasted like dog food. The good news is that if you come here for drinks you wont be disappointed, some of the best beer Ive ever had.

Absolutely loved this place!! It was our first time to Bar Harbor and we were lucky enough to have Tonia as our waitress. Not only did she recommend some amazing food -- lobster cocktail, mussels, tacos, and the pork belly/scallops (P.S. best food we had in bar harbor, hands down), she also built us a pretty sweet itenerary so we could see all that Bar Harbor has to offer. Highly recommend this place -- great food, awesome atmosphere, and phenomenal service!!

Schade

The lobster Bisque is AMAZING! We chose to sit at the bar because there was a wait for a table, and it turned out to be a blessing. Adam was the bartender, and he was great. Gave perfect food recommendations, and made excellent drinks! Also, their kitchen was open until 11, which was great because we werent ready for dinner until 11 PM. Stop here if you want a good beer or drink and some delicious food.

Okay this is a certainly an honest opinion and hope the owners of the establishment read. Your six beer flight is overpriced. At 20 bucks its a little too high. Try 15 for 6 and 10 for 4. Two of the 6 glasses were dirty and one had a chip. So 3 of the glasses were not clean or damaged. The beer selection was very nice of both local and national brews. It is worth trying but buyer beware and look.

Three and 3/4 stars. Food was excellent! The Lobster bisque was AMAZING! Waitress was super nice but the service overall was a little slow. I wouldnt let that hinder you from coming here. The atmosphere and food are well worth your time. The waitress we had may have had more tables than others, too. Art deco style bar that is really cool to look at.

The services was poor. I havent been to another restaurant in town that has given us this kind of service. The food was average. One really bad thing is that we order waffle chips which they have a great taste BUT the guacamole was really old (brown) I ask the server if we could get fresh guacamole and he said that is all they had.
