The one in Slidell La on Hwy 190 gives the Picadilly chain a bad name - while we have had great experiences at other locations, this one caused my husband and I to be physically ill. Thursday evening Feb.21 at 6:30 p.m. we ordered salads (which were limp and dull) , fried shrimp, (battered and raw inside) seafood plattter of crawfish etoufee and fish (unfinishable), brocolli casserole (nothing but mush) - and bread (thankfully, it was the only edible item). We did complain to the hostess and she volunteered that they were there because the rent was cheap. WE love the ones in Covington and other places in the south but this was so bad that we felt it important to let the franchise headquarters know. I hope someone in Quality Control will address their innumerable problems (the location smelled like it had recently flooded). We were travelling otherwise we would have left immediately.

Rude manager. They updated their POS to modern technology but the manager refused to allow me to pay via NFC on my phone. She said they do not do that, yet I pay this way at every other Piccadilly. She refused to even let me try. She said shes not "allowed" to let me try and pay my bill in that manner. I had to walk back out to get my credit card. When I told her that I may not come back because the ease of this convenience is not allowed by strictly her, she just said "sorry to hear that and walked away. Great service their lady, no wonder youre a manager. You get an office to run off to when you dont want to talk to your customers. Food is good... As always.

I definitely just heard my server ask to go home early sick and the management said theyd fire her if she left. Meaning management prefers to spread illness to its clients that line his pocketbooks instead of sending the sick server home and protecting our healthiness. Maybe management has forgotten where they come from and is afraid to get their hands dirty by helping if it gets busy. I know I will not be back to this location, or possibly any other Piccadilly, depending on how the main office handles my concern tomorrow.

I would have given a 5, but there was a tall black young lady on the line with a nasty attitude. She may have been in management because of her uniform. My wife asked for a few more cabbage because there was only a big piece and to pour off some of the juice. She got hot and my wife said dont bother. The lady threw the bowl underneath the counter.

Aside from the staff not realizing we were also getting food for a toddler and refusing to give me a scoop of red beans for the scoop of white rice they gave me. Highly disappointed in the tough bland food received.
