Anchors is HANDS DOWN our favorite restaurant. Perfect place to go for a tasty, yet super affordable meal. Here`s why: 1. The food... obviously. I personally have never had a burger compare to their BBQ bacon cheddar burger (I like mine cooked medium with extra sauce on the side and lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion ;) ) Top that off with some battered fries... On cloud 9. Every. Time. Our parents (both sets) go crazy over their fried chicken and their pork loin and gravy. My husband will venture away and get other stuff on the menu that he really enjoys, but, like me, he swears by their burgers if he had to pick a favorite (Secret menu item: he really likes to order the battered fries tossed in their cajun seasoning). 2. THE PRICES. My husband always has to share with everyone he meets that he can get a Blue Moon on draft there for $2, AND that isn`t even their happy hour! And I`m not going to lie, we almost always end up getting appetizers too because it`s hard to resist loaded chips or chicken nachos for $6.95 (although they aren`t really necessary because usually our food comes out just a few minutes after... talk about feeling like a fatty). We both get drinks, meals and an appetizer and still keep our total well under $30; that is hard to come by these days. 3. If I had to name one thing that stands out the most about Anchors, it isn`t the food and it isn`t the ridiculously low prices, it is the staff. As many times as we have gone there, you would think that by now we would have had a bad experience, but we truly never have. Our waitresses are always attentive, very personable, and they don`t ever get annoyed with us when we ask for extra things after we get our order (We`re those guys...). Our first few times going there, we noticed they had staff designated solely to cleaning up tables and going around to make sure everyone`s drinks were full and taken care of. Blew our minds.. lol. Not to say that is always the case, but it is typical to see on busy nights of the week. One down side to going there late in the evening is you may catch them at a time when their popular items have sold out. They have crazy good specials, so that is to be expected; but other than that, it is really hard to say anything negative about the restaurant (I mean, seriously... look at that burger).

OK THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME GOING TO THIS PLACE AND I JUST DID A CARRY OUT IT LOOKED REALLY CLEAN AND NICE AND THE GIRLS WHO WORK THE FRONT AND WAITRESS ARE REALLY NICE AND DID A REALLY GOOD JOB MAKING SURE I HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED THIS IS THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE I ORDERED A ROAST BEEF MEAL WITH FRIES AND FRIED OKRA AND IT COAST ME 18 BUCKS AND THAT WAS FINE BUT I EXPECT FOR THAT PRICE FOR MY FOOD TO BE REALLY GOOD AND THERE BE ENOUGH TO FEED A GROWN MAN I HAVE TAKEN A FEW PICS TO SHOW WHAT I MEAN THE ROAST BEEF IS REALLY BURNT AND THERE IS ONLY LIKE TWO PEACES OF MEAT ANS THERE IS ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF FRIES ITS LIKE A KIDS MEAL AND IT WAS JUST SO GREASY AND BURNT I COULDNT EVEN EAT IT I KEEP CALLING UP THERE AND NO ONE IS AWNSERING BUT I EXPECTED ALOT BETTER FOR WHAT I PAID EVERYONE ELSE WAS GREAT IT WAS JUST THIS FOOD I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MORE THAN LIKELY I WONT BE GOING BACK.

Found a raoch in my food. My cup had gunk at the bottom. My shoes stuck to the floor, sticky. And was an hour and a half BEFORE closing and we where there last customer and they treated us like crap. And got worse when I showed them the bug and dirty glass. Will never return and would never recommed. Id give zero stars if possible!!!!

Great service and people who serve you a place where you can take your family.you like crab legs. But they were out. Of them but its not all u can eat but u get a great plate full .So sense they were out I had a taco bowl and it was big or bigger then my plate and only 7.95 Great place a rate Anchors Resturant a big 100

Love the place. Excellent service and the food is fantastic . worth the 15 mile drive. Had the 8 oz. Strip for dinner tonite. Heaven melt in your mouth tender superior flavor. Not too pricey. You get your moneys worth and then some. Wish i lived closer so i could go more often.
