Went for lunch and it was awful. I ordered a cup of gumbo and a hamburger with fries. The gumbo was very thick and bland, no flavor at all even after I added salt and pepper. The hamburger was comparable to a McDonalds burger (and I am not a fan of McDonalds). The fries were cold as if they were under the warming lamp 20 minutes too long. My boyfriend ordered the chicken strips and they were luke warm at best. There were only 3 tables (this is including us) and the service was horrible. Two waitresses working and lets just say a rock has more personality than either of those two had. We enjoy their breakfast during the week/breakfast buffet on the weekends and there is this one waitress (I believe her name is Kami) who absolutely the best. However, lunch (food and service) was so disappointing that we decided to remove Envie from our options for lunch.

We held our 10 year class reunion here. The place was nice but the two older ladies that were in charge were bitches. When the leaders were setting up one of the ladies was being extremely rude because we opened the door before 6:30 to go outside to go get a prop. We were trying to take pictures in middle of the party and one of them came and turned the lights out on us. She told us not to touch the light switches. They were not nice when serving drinks. They were looking like we were an inconvenience to them. When the party was over people were bringing food to there car. When they went back to go get their personal items they locked the doors and they were very rude in asking what they were doing. I will never do another event at this place because of these two old ladies.

Inevitably, I usually end up here for at least one meal when I am visiting home. I love the food, because I cant get it in Texas. The waitstaff can sometimes be harried and/or inexperienced, but overall the place is pleasant and I always enjoy seeing people I know and having some decaf with my great aunt. I just love Thibodaux!

Enjoyed a seafood platter (thankfully on special). Very good, except for undercooked oysters. Gumbo was lukewarm, but the service staff quickly fixed the problem. Wait staff was awesome! Service was quick and beer was cold! Even gave us breadpudding to bring home!

The owner is racist. He cursed me out on the phone. Not professional at all. He said horrible things on phone to me. I hate this restaurant and owner. I hope no one every goes here again.
