Changed from before post. I used to brag to everyone and promote this restaurant as the "best Chinese buffet" I have ever been to in the USA. I travel in my job all over the country. BUT I went there today and was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. They just changed to "Dinner". They did not tell myself or the friend with me. But everything was OLD AND COLD. Say them change over but put the OLD AND COLD on top of the new food they were putting out. None of what I had with my chop sticks had any true flavor like so many times in the past. A lot of the fish, octopus, squid, crab and other "seafood" related dishes was tuff and over cooked also as I said had the taste of sitting there for awhile. I should also mention that I have attended culinary school and training. But the worse part was checking out. Expecting a near $25 bill for the two of us but was surprised with a $41.38 bill. The food is NO WARE near the quality for that price. I have eaten there many times before and thought of it the best ever. Should have went to the Thai restaurant down the road or the new MEXICAN Buffet restaurant I heard about south of I-10 on Siegen Ln.

Without a doubt, the best sushi you can get in the Baton Rouge/New Orleans region. Having eaten at New Orleans Oki Nago, Nagoya is better hands down. Lets start by saying that the sashimi is fresh and there are over 30+ dishes to try from. If raw fish isnt your thing, no worries! They have California rolls as well as other sushi that doesnt contain any raw fish. Sushi isnt the only thing they offer; Some of my favorites include the salmon "dumplings", green beans, tilapia, and ice crea (recommend the plum, green tea, and mango flavors). A tip for those who just like eating sashimi: Since Nagoya tends to offer sashimi with the sushi rice, they have no problem if you request to just have the sashimi by itself. Whenever I am back visiting LA, Nagoya is one of the very few places I visit. It is very Oishii (delicious in Japanese)!

Ive been there few times before. I love their food, it was great and always seems clean. The last time I went there with my co-worker whos never been there before, as I was telling her how clean this place is, I was sipping on my sweetened tea when I noticed a bug inside the cub. I swear Im not making this up, so I called on waitress and she went to talk to her manager, so they didnt charge me for the drink. THANK GOD I didnt suck that bug or mosquito ow whatever it was, into my straw. This is the waitresss job to check on something like this since shes bringing the drinks to the table. I was disgusted. But I LOVE THE FOOD!!!!! Im still going to go back there from time to time.

Me and my husband have come here alot the food was always amazing and well worth the money. BUT the past 2 times we have went the food has been cold and nasty. We went tonight and were very excited to get some fresh food and some sushi. There was no food very little sushi and it was all old. The shrimp were so hot you couldnt even eat them. The crabs and other foods had no taste at all. And the staff was very rude and ugly. Then we had to 41 dollars for a meal that was not even worth a dollar. Save your time and money and go some where else.

It is overpriced. The staff is very very rude. The person working at the habchi was not willing to work, even though i gave him an extra 2 dollar tip he messed up my order. In turn he put too much salt in my omelette. I have been there 4-5 times and each time the experience is horrible. Every time I go the waitress always brings the check after 10 minutes while i was eating. The worth of the food wasnt even worth 20 dollars but they charge 42 dollars for two people. The manager is the most rude person. NEVER EVER GONNA VISIT THEM AGAIN.

One of the few buffets left in Baton Rouge. Most of the items are delicious and kept hot. Many enjoy the large variety of sushi, I dont eat it, however friends that do say it is great. My personal favorite is the Habachi Grill, pick your items and they cook it to order. Otherwuse, there are many prepared dishes available, from salad items to chicken and shrimp dishes. Their spring rolls are some of the best. I believe it could be cleaner and is why I only give it 4 stars. That said, it is the best buffet option in Baton Rouge.

This place is incredible! You will find something that the whole family will love. New and old favs. The quality of Sushi is extremely fresh and well prepared. The flavors are melt in your mouth. The people are friendly and will help you in any way they can. If you want some great Sushi and Asian food you need to come here. They also have a wonderful selection of seafood on the weekend, PS the price is well within budget.

HORRIBLE! Went there around 9:00 PM, they close at 10PM. The buffet was less than half full. At $20.00 bucks a person you would think they would have the buffet full at all times. What was out was cold and dry. I spoke with the lady at the register with the stripper heels on and she said everything would be out in 5 minutes, well that came and went without anything being filled. I will NEVER go back.....

I wish they had egg drop soup! Food was good. Several of the stacked plates were dirty (4 in a row), which made me look at everything. Hubby comes for the pineapple rice! Boiled shrimp wasnt very good, didnt try any crab. Scallops were fantastic. Only fish bones left, nothing new put out while we were here. Not a $15 buffet. But hubby loves the pineapple rice, so here we are. :)

As soon as you walk into the door you are greeted by a salt water aquarium full of fish and a very polite crew. Although some of the food is bland, it has some great options. All the food seems fully cooked (with the exception of some of the sushi options) and is placed over a large plate of boilding water to keep it hot. Theres even a bar up front if you want to wet your whistle.

Been here about 4 times now, mostly for lunch. Theyve improved over time in both the freshness of the offerings and the variety. Service is always great (almost TOO good - feel like they are silently judging whether or not to top off my tea each time I take a sip, heh). Good stuff, Im a fan. Have yet to try the hibachi grill, always fill up on other stuff.

A Roach was stuck to my food on my plate! We were only there about 15 minutes and when I told the waitress, she only offered me $4 off the meal. None of the others at the table wanted to continue eating. I had to request to speak to a manager and had to request to get my meal taken off my bill. They were not very apologetic I will never go back.

Honestly almost every food on the buffet was disgusting including the unripe fruit, the terrible deserts and the horrid hibachi bar. The sushi bar has plenty of wonderful sushi however and so it therefore redeemed itself. There is a grand amount of selections nonetheless, Id prefer 6 selections that taste good over 40 that taste terrible.
