By far the worst experience Ive ever had at a Cracker Barrel (Baton Rouge, La)!! First they kept transferring me to place a to go order and no one ever answered the phone. Finally after calling back 15 min later someone picked up. The guy took my order over the phone and when I made it to the store 20 min later I paid for the order. I waited in the gift shop for another 25 min for my order. The workers saw me waiting for my order but never offered to go check on it. I had to ask the hostess and when she went to check on it she said "theyre fixing it right now." I was fine with that, but the manager came out 5 min later to tell me he wasnt sure why they didnt tell me that they didnt have any shrimp for the order, but they sent a hostess to pacify me (lie to me) saying it was being fixed. Why take my order AND my payment and not be certain that you have what Ive already paid for. The guy I assumed to be the manager attempted to resolve the matter, but after almost an hour for something that I couldve ordered elsewhere and had prepared in 20 min it wasnt even worth it. I love Cracker Barrel but I will NEVER visit this location again.

Awful service. Rooting straight from management. My family went out to eat here Sunday night and were nothing but dissapionted. Our waitress dropped two of our plates when walking up to the table with our food and instead of trying to appease the customers, her manager walks up and repremands her right in front of us! Telling her the food she dropped will be taken out of her check! I will never be back. I used to be a waitress myself and any "manager" who acts like that doesnt even deserve the waitstaff hes abusing. It was clear that this manager doesnt care about taking care of his customers or his staff. News flash buddy, we all only work for the money but you get out of it what you put into it. The okay prices are not worth the lack of service. And for the waitress, I suggest a change in scenery. Your boss should have your back in a pinch. I would give no stars if i could.

Cracker Barrel is not my first choice to dine out.In fact,the only reason I was here today was to make use of the coupon that I received from the corporate office in Tennessee.I had eaten at the Cracker Barrel in Gonzales located next to the Tanger Outlet Mall and my friend and I both found large black hairs in our food.The waitress had filthy fingernails as well.I emailed Cracker Barrel and let them know and they sent me a coupon for a free meal. Since I was reluctant to go back I chose to go to the Baton Rouge location instead. I am pleased to report that the service and food were both a nice surprise. Thank you Cracker Barrel! Make sure you ask to be served by Lee. She was very sweet and friendly in a genuine way. I would definitely visit again.

Has to be one of the worst Cracker Barrels ever. First off I had to look for a high chair for my child because no one cared to ask if we needed one. Then when we ordered for our kids we told the waitress several times that we wanted the same thing for both kids and she only brought out one of each. So she had to go in the back and get the items for the other which took forever. Then me and my wife ordered the exact same thing but when we got our side salads she messed that up and gave her a house salad which we had to have removed from our bill because it was not ordered. Then when we was finished we had to go find someone to get a to go box. We will not be returning to Cracker Barrel again.

I was here from out of town, I will never eat at this cracker barrel again. The service was terrible and the servers literally had no drive to earn their tips. My waitress never refilled my drink nor came by after my food came out to see if I needed anything, which I did. When my drink needed refilled I am very sure the 3 servers that passed me noticed but did not care to pick up the slack. I walked in this cracker barrel with my expectations high from where I am from and the cracker barrel here is a crap hole. I hope real management steps in and sees all these complaints and brings in better staff.

I stopped in for the amazing breakfast with my son on my way to work. This is the 2nd time I have visited here in the last few months. Wait time for our food previously was almost an hour. I thought it would be better today. I have been here for an hour again. Listening to my son say how hungry he is. We live in ventress, la. We waited to drive here to eat. I thought this would be a good place to show him but bless his heart. We love the food. Our waitress took a lil while but service was ok. This is why waffle house is so much better. The service and wait time there is so fast.

Service was HORRIBLE. Took 15 minutes just for a drink to come out and they couldnt even bring enough biscuits for the whole table. Sat there for AN HOUR before finally saying something about our food and it being be out out, with almost every plate being messed up. People that came in AFTER US were getting their tables full of food before us and leaving. To get refills we had to say something to someone who wasnt even our server because our TWO SERVERS would walk past and not get us drinks. WILL NOT BE VISITING AGAIN.

This USED to be one of the best restaurants in town. Now...its absolutely the worst service in town. Expect to wait at least 10 to 20 minutes to see a waitress or waiter and weve waited up to over an hour for our food and then it came out cold. Folks I wish I could say this only happened once but its happened 4 times now. I contacted the corporate office and they said they fixed it...they didnt...so I give up...I will never visit this restaurant again.

This place is normal good to me. I also normally go much earlier in the bed. This day I decided to eat here for dinner. To my surprise they ran out of two menu items, thats not bad, I was only informed of this about 10 minutes after I placed my order. Needless to say I had to wait extra long for my food which normally doesnt take long. Food was still delicious, just a little disappointed in the service.

I love Cracker Barrel, but this one has dropped the ball waaaaaay too many times. More often than not it is poor at best. Im here right now actually. I just got greeted by my server after sitting for 10 minutes. I usually have to send food back because it is either cold, or very very dry. Service is lackluster except for a few times when it has been great. I really wish this location was better!
