The place is strongly reminiscent of an old style New Orleans restaurant with the small white tiles and wooden chairs. The food is excellent, and they usually give you more than you can eat. The Bleu Cheese Chips are great; but youd better have people with you or be able to handle a good bit of bleu cheese to handle it. Ive had the Bistro Bomber, the Cassoulet (The best version Ive ever had btw, and the duck sausage is outstanding), and the sausage pasta (I almost hurt myself on that stuff). Ive yet to have a meal there that has been sub-par.

Ive lived in Baton Rouge my entire life, and have never been to Bistro Byronz before my coworkers took me there. It was such an amazing place for a lunch break. It was extremely fast, and everyone was very friendly. If you havent had the Debris Sandwich from Byronz, you havent fully lived. Its one of the best meals Ive ever had to date. When you get it, be sure to ask for extra gravy!

This place ended up being a pleasant surprise. My fiancé and I were wanting a light meal before we headed back to our hotel for the night around 9pm, and while doing a Google search came across this place. We ended up ordering the Gumbo and the Soup of the Day, and it was absolutely fantastic, with a generous portion size. I would highly recommend if you are in the area.

This is a must for us when we are in Baton Rouge. My personal favorite is the Gumbo Poboy. I know this sounds unusual, and it is, but it is fantastic. Also, they know how to properly prepare a Sazerac. Wait times can be high in the evening, but then again, its Baton Rouge, where wait times are always high in the evening. Wait staff are friendly and prompt.

Went for a family gathering it was 8 of us, we were seated fast. Food was outstanding, above outstanding Had chicken with rice and a side of Blue Cheese Macaroni . The mac and cheese had to be one of the best things Ive ever eaten! Bread Pudding was excellent too, family all had a good time. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Wow best $12 steak on earth. Government Street host yet another top notch restaurant. This is as memorable as that pizza in Amsterdam or that hamburger in San Fransisco. Life always has it pleasures exposed when you least expect it and this one will go into memory. Until next time. Maybe tomorrow.

Blue. Cheese. Fries. Those are worth the wait and the drive there. Their lenten was pretty good, and normally I get the blue cheese macaroni and the steak sandwich! They are both delicious, I am going there tonight and trying the debris sandwich! Bring your out of town guests, it is a must!

I arrived a bit late (Baton Rouge dines early), but the staff made a special effort to serve me the last of the crabcake supply. Ambiance is pleasant, tho this venue can be noisy when fully occupied. Its a great place for French provincial style cuisine with a LA twist.

I sat at the bar for a quick lunch, I had great service from the bar tender. The spinach artichoke dip was great, but the show stopper was the home made chips. I also had some sort of summer salad with strawberries and blueberries that was one of the best Ive ever had.

This is my favorite go to restaurant for an enjoyable happy hour, quick lunch, or nice dinner/evening out. The food is tasty with a wide variety of choices. The service is superb. And the location of this restaurant is perfect for anyone in the mid-city area.

The quality of the food has been going to hell. Food has been coming out cold. Hate having to send back to the kitchen but the fries are as hard as rocks by the time we go to eat them. Used to have the best shop Poboy but now the shine are soggy and cold.
