I am always pleased with both the food and the service at the Newport Ky location of Chipotle. We frequent this location often for those reasons. It is so easy to grab a quick, healthy meal there for myself and my 3 children. But today our visit was extra special, thanks to the manager of this branch, Derek. For no other reason then a simple act of kindness, my children and I received our order for free. As he helped me carry our trays over to our table he smiled and thanked us for visiting their location. Little did he know we had just spent 3 hours at the local car repair shop finding out that we needed a new brake system put on our vehicle because our old one was completely shot. Not only was I stressed about the financial burden and inconvenience of these car troubles but also I was now going to have to sit at the repair shop with 3 kids. If anyone has ever spent time with a 1yr old, 4 yr old and 6 yr old, in a confined space during lunchtime hours/naptime hours for the baby, without any items to keep anyone occupied you may understand that my nerves were shot at this point. We could not get to lunch quick enough. Derek and this Chipotle location in Newport took a day that was spiraling downhill quickly and made it a positive experience. I thank him for that, and we cant wait to go back again!

I placed an online order at 8pm. They closed at 10pm. When I arrived at 8:45pm when my food was supposed to be ready they didnt have the guacamole. Then they said they managed to scrape the pan and get enough. Really? They were out of Vinaigrette for the salad and couldnt make anymore. I wasnt told any of this information until I had been cashed out. Had I known I wouldve asked to remove the extra side of guacamole and chips. In this case why not call me before I arrive and see if I would like something else? More than 1/4 of the lettuce in my salad was brown and wilting. Its stores like this one why Chipotle has been getting a bad reputation lately.

What do you expect when you walk into a restaurant? A pleasant atmosphere, a welcoming staff, great food, and efficient service, right? When I went in to this particular Chipotle, my expectations for a typical Chipotle were shattered! All of my expectations for a restaurant were raised to the next level. The employees are very engaging, and extremely accommodating to any sort of befuddlement you might feel being in an assembly line of customers.. Not only are the employees extremely friendly and efficient, the Chipotle is always spotless, and the food is top notch. A++ to this Chipotle.

Service varies drastically. It all depends if you get stuck with the college kids (or younger) that are too busy flirting with each other or some of the customers to actually serve you.. Ive also heard them discuss things that customers need not hear and also argue about who should wait on the next customer. The only saving grace for this location is that when ever we visit it usually isnt packed and the taste is pretty good; even when they skimp on the portion size.

The food is good, I cant deny that. Unfortunately, this location gives you tiny portions and their online orders are rarely ready on time. I assumed it was just Chipotle as a whole but went to the one in Covington on my lunch break and my food was hot, ready and the burrito bowl wasnt just a quarter or the way or half full. So Im chalking it up to this location.

No way these good reviews are for real. Ive been trying to give this new location a chance since it opened, but its simply the worst Chipotle around. The line is always out the door because they are slower than you can possibly imagine. The place is always trashed. Get someone in there that can actually manage. Chimpanzees could run it better.

We came in 30 minutes till closing time and then a huge rush came in behind us. The guy working the tortilla press on memorial day did an awesome job and was very kind even with the big rush before closing and I know I would of been ticked off that happened to me but he kept his cool and was really polite. He deserves a raise.

Arrived at height of lunch hour and got right thru. Employees were friendly and food delicious. Only thing was only had 3 bottles of Tabasco by drinks and as I glanced around, none were on tables.

This is the slowest Chipotle I have ever been too. There is always a long line, and the employees are not very efficient. I typically get smaller servings at this location as well.
