Went here to eat for the first time before our movie on a Friday night, the restaurant caught our eye with the menu being seen right out front and no line to get in. Was surprised upon entering how big the restaurant itself was! Had a great view of the levee and nice music playing. We placed our order (buffalo chicken breast sandwich, fried pickles and a chicken ranch wrap). The fried pickles were served rather quickly within 10 mins we had them at our table. The pickles were very good and I really enjoyed the ranch they were served with. After 45 mins of waiting for our food we were ready to leave because we did not think our food would take so long and we were worried about missing our movie. The waitress we had seemed friendly but not very knowledgeable about the different sauces and thier hotness levels. Several times she walked by us and never asked how we were or if everything was ok. Finally after almost an hour of sitting we received our entrees... the buffalo chicken breast sandwich was horrible... dry, extremely spicy and not really any sauce at all on it. The chicken ranch wrap however was amazing much better and flavorful. We hurried up and ate (sense i paid as soon as our food arrive) and left with mixed feelings. Overall the view, music and area is very nice. However the lack of menu knowledge from the staff, the menu showing no level of hottness for each sauce, the horrible wait on the food for only 2 eating and a not even half full restaurant makes this place a no go for me. Next time we will try a different place in the area.

Well, after reading the review is going to be that surprising. Hey upper management..nothing has been done to address wait time for drink orders or overall rudeness of the staff. We waited over 10 minutes, watched the people who were seated AFTER us receive not only their drinks but their appetizers as well. We made numerous points of eye contact with the 3 hostesses huddled at the stand, all of them looking apparantly right through us. We did have 4 kids (who were behaving perfectly I want to make clear. They sat at the tabke quietly coloring and circling what they wanted to eat--I do this to make ordering efficient for the server) in our party, Im thinking they didnt want to deal, which is sad because we come here every time we come to the Levee. That wont be happening again. I feel like the others who have reviewed the same, if you didnt want us the 1st time, we wont be bothered to think of you again. We got MUCH better service at Dicks, where they are SUPPOSED to be rude. **note fun rude is WAY better than actual rude. I do plan to contact the corporate office because, well, to be honest, Im sick of the rudeness; its why we dont go to restaurants that often, but this place is on the Levee with the aquarium. At 2:00 in the afternoon with special boats docked at Riverboat Row....they need to make a freaking effort.

I was out the other day and thought Id try somewhere new, sadly this was the place we picked. After getting sat we waited a good 10 min before anyone showed up to ask for drinks, this wouldnt have been so bad if the waiter hadnt told us we were his only table at the time. After getting the food, an appetizer, and one mixed drink we waited again. We ordered the Poutine which came out first with very little cheese and a small drizzle of gravy over the top. First sign of disappointment considering I thought it would have a bit more cheese and gravy but hey this isnt Canada. Next was the Piggy Back Burger and the Mahi Fish Tacos, both were ok in taste but lukewarm at best, again we were the only table the waiter had so I would expect better. Finally the bill came and I figured around $30 but was shocked to see $42, we both looked at each other wide eyed trying to figure how this "lunch" ran us that much. The drink she ordered was almost as much as my burger and was one of the weakest drinks she had, had from any place we had been before. So of all the places down at the levee this is one to avoid.

Went here twice. The first time, we waited about half an hour, even though we could see several empty tables that had and had not been bussed. One couple at the bar saw a clean table, asked for it, and got it, ahead of everyone who was already waiting at the door for a table. It was 12 minutes between placing a beer order and getting it. And it tasted like itd been sitting on the bar waiting for 12 minutes. The second time we went, there were huge garbage cans sitting open in the dining area, next to guests. Beyond unsanitary, not to mention unsightly. There seemed to be employees everywhere, but nothing getting done. Tables sat dirty for half an hour or more. The waiter "didnt see us" for about 10 minutes after we sat down. I dont know what to think. Maybe theres just terrible management here. Will never go back! Oh, and they stop selling pitchers at 9PM. So dont go here before a late movie or ball game expecting to get a pitcher and food.

Came in after going to a movie. Sat at a table, ignored for several minutes and finally a server comes out to ask of we needed anything. When I paid my tab I was passed by at least five different bar tenders/staff and ignored. The dude bro bartender decided it was more important to help the ladies at the bar and talk to his friends instead of asking if I or anyone other than females needed anything. Waited at least 10 mins and had to shout to the bartender several times to get his attention even though three other bartenders were around. The service is terrible. This has happened at least three other times. Rude staff and unfriendly. Stay away and try other bars on the Levy. Bar management maybe you should actually pay attention to the reviews so people comeback. Bar Louie is much better IMO.

My friends and I have always loved coming here in the past, but our last experience was horrible and I never want to return. I want to give compliments to the ladies working the bar because although they are obviously overworked, They were still smiling and had a good attitude about it while taking care of everyone working their butts off. However, once our table was ready, our waitress, Mary S 178, was rude and horrible. She would not wait on the females at our tables, only the males. My female friends and I did not get drinks or food because she would not take our order. We will never be back and I will never again suggest this place to anyone. There are other bars and restaurants on the levee we will be spending our time, our money, and hopefully referring our friends to try instead.

First time I ate here was pretty decent. A couple months later we decided to go again. It was a Monday early afternoon and there were only a handful of people there. 15 minutes after the hostess showed us to our table, nobody came to our table because all the staff were huddled around the bar goofing off. We walked out and I called the manager immediately. I told him "Good job on losing us as customers." He told me "To come back and hell make it right." I told him "No thanks, Im taking my business elsewhere." When I got home, I emailed corporate, I received a response from the head chef apologizing and said that they know about the numerous complaints and were addressing them. He also offered us a free round of drinks. 4 years later, we havent been back and probably will never go back.
