The only reason Im giving this one star is because of the mashed potatoes and the wine. I will start by saying the service was AWFUL. Our waiter was brusque and borderline rude. Secondly, I have eaten a lot of steaks and this was perhaps the lowest quality and most dry steak Ive had. It was the equivalent of the steak nights we had at my alma mater. I ordered my steak cooked at the temperature of my dining partner and his was perfect. Mine was not. Our server brought over who I PRESUME was the manager on duty as he did not introduce himself. He asked me to cut my FILET in half so he could examine it. Anyone who eats steak knows that can be murder to a steak. He then asked my dining partner to cut his open as If he didnt believe me. Then he proceeded to argue with me about the way it was cooked. Although I feel like I shouldnt argue with a restaurant about my meal being prepared to MY REQUEST, I told him not to worry about it when he then flippantly offered to prepare another steak for me and snickered. This happened in the dining room amongst other guests. The entire experience was deeply incriminating, degrading and embarrassing. I am so disappointed. No one offered to reheat our sides after the entire debacle. This would have never happened at Ruths Chris. Im so disappointed. I reached out to the manger, Kevin? And have yet to hear back from him. Sooooo disappointed.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered the oysters and the crab cake for an appetizer, then not even 3 min later our waiter said "looks like youre getting close to deciding". We said wed like to see our appetizer first, our waiter rolled his eyes and looked visibly frustrated. Heard him use the same line "looks like youre getting close to deciding" to another table that was seated right before we left. To which a woman seated replied "well actually you interrupted our conversation and we just ordered our drinks". We felt very rushed the entire service. Ordered the porterhouse for 2, cooked medium. The picture attached is what we got. Told the waiter we wanted medium and he quickly without even really looking at the steak said "oh thats how we serve our medium". Really? then what does medium rare look like, still walking? The table bread has tree nuts in it. My wife is deathly allergic so it would have been nice of them to mention that. Oysters and crab cake were excellent. Fried lobster tail was pretty good, meat was tough, definitely not worth $29. Mac n cheese wasnt anything special. Ambience was great. Our waiter was awful. Steak was unforgivable, its served sliced so I dont know how they served it so pink.

This review is for Chops upstairs, NOTthe Lobster Bar. I live near by. My wife and I go there at least once a week since moving nearby 4 months ago. The food is still good. The bartenders are comically horrible. If you show up twice a week, they have no idea who you are. It;s like going to an airport bar. They put on the fake smile, ask you if you want bread and the hang out toward the back of the bar so they dont have to talk to the patrons. We had to wave to the bartender to get her attention to order a drink. There are 3 bartenders. Everyone of them asked us if we wanted bread. We ordered our food. Five minutes later, another bartender asked if we wanted menus. We routinely opt to sit at the bar instead of a table when we go out to dinner...which is often. Never again at Chops. Horrible bartenders. Again, this IS NOT a review of the bartender at the Lobster Bar. He is actually pretty good. For some reason, only the Lobster Bar comes up on this site or Tripadvisor. Pano, smarten up! Find some bartenders with some semblance of a personality.

OMG Food was perfect! I took my family on Fathers Day. My reservation made through open tables was never found though I made it four days prior. That a bit aggravating wait with a 9 year old and a very impatient 6 year old. The manager wss called over they say us anyway which was good (because I was starving and really not myself when hungry). We order crab cakes and the cracked lobster. Not a morsel left on plate. The kid both had surf and turf. Which they loved. We order thin string bean and mac and chesse for sides neither was to our liking.Im not a big steak eater but since Im at steak house guess Ill indulge. I chose the wagyu steak filet 8oz. Hubby 12 wagyu ribye (?). Fingerlicking good...I now eat steak but only wagyu and only from Chops. Thanks guys! I lt would have been a 5 star but the waiter I found myself looking for to often. Maybe it was because they fit me in. That and the fact my reservation was lost.. steak and lobster definitely on point!

I had reservations at 5:30p which turned out to be the perfect time. When we left at 8pm we had so much free time to do other things on a Saturday night. We were celebrating my cousins birthday. I arrived early at 5:05pm. I was sent to the upstairs bar while I wait. Upstairs is the Chops Steakhouse. We had reservations downstairs at the Lobster Bar. At 5:25p the manager set a table for three in the middle of the room. The décor was perfect. We watched the restaurant fill up over the next two hours. Our server was pushy and not helpful but the service was good overall. We had the rib eye, filet mignon, steak and lobster and lobster mac-n-cheese. Average is how I would describe our meal. There was nothing exceptional about it. We did receive complimentary cake and ice cream as a birthday gift from the restaurant. We blew out the candles and was on our way. It was okay. Ive had better.

The food was disappointing. Really disappointing. I ordered the oyster for appetizer. It came with 5 pieces. The second one I tried had sand inside. I thought everyone could make a mistake, so I gave a try to finish the others. However, the fourth was even more sandy! I was going to have an all-sea-food dinner before I tried the oyster. But after two sandy ones from only four pieces, I was so much concerned that they couldnt make seafood right that I changed my order. Since they said they were good at steak, I ordered a NY strip to give them a chance to keep their reputation. It came with more disappointment: the strip had a piece of bone! a triangle size of 1/3 inch. I asked the waiter whether their strip was supposed to have bone; the waiter told me the strip was cut from T-Bone. I didnt where the answer came from at all!

The wife and I came here to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. I made reservations and the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. I think everybody in the restaurant knew it was our anniversary. They sat us at this table and we felt like we were 2 years old. The table was extremely large. Large enough to sit like 8 people so we got up and sat at the bar. Nothing against the server at the table but WALTER at the bar rocks! We ordered lobster bisque and the crab cake for appetizers. I would have ordered more of these but I didnt want to look too greedy. For dinner my wife had the seafood trio. It came with a crab cake, lobster tail and a small piece of Salmon. I ordered the 20oz Prime Rib. Now I cant speak for my wife but bayyyy bayyy that Prime Rib ROCKED! The chef
