My husband, I, and another couple went to Brios to celebrate Sweetest Day. I ordered a steak and told our waitress Deana that I wanted it Medium Rare with an emphasis on the rare. When I received it, it was medium. As I was cutting into it, I made a comment to my husband and friend about my steak not being rare and the young man filling our water glasses overheard me. I wasnt complaining to the staff, just making a comment. Within two minutes the Executive Chef, Pedro E. Zuniga, appeared at our table and asked about my steak. I showed him and asked him if he thought it was medium rare. He said no and immediately took it and said he would fix me another one. He was back shortly with a steak that melted in my mouth. It was absolutely delicious. He apologized and said to ask for him personally if I ever have an issue with my steak again. Shortly after that, the manager appeared at our table, Mark Saadallah, to make sure everything was ok. I told him his staff had handled everything very professionally. I do not know the name of the young man who was filling our water that night but he sure picked up on a problem and took it to the right person. I think he will go places. Thank you to the three young men who made my dinner turn out fabulous that night! Oh by the way, the manager did not charge us for my dinner. We are regular customers at Brios and will continue to be because they do take care of you. Sincerely Shirley Grimme

Cant believe I hadnt been to Brio yet living in the area for so long. When I walked, I instantly liked the atmosphere. My wife and I were meeting some close friends and celebrating both of our wives birthdays. It was a Friday night, and I was excited to be there with them. While overall, it was positive, Id have to say the execution was not as good as I had hoped. A few times, I had a difficult time flagging down the waitress. My wife found a piece of paper (wrapping for a shrimp I think) in her meal. No big deal, and we dont usually make a big fuss, but we showed the server. She then brought over the manager, and he said hed take care of it. After this, our service significantly decreased. A busboy brought out food to us after we had already eaten (wrong table). And then, when we received the bill, nothing had been adjusted (again, after the manager said hed take care of it). We showed to the server, and she adjusted, but man ... lots of things stacked up. As for the food, I was happy. We each ordered a bowl of lobster bisque based of yelp recommendation. Very tasty, but a bowl is too much. Its just so creamy. That was a mistake on my end. We split a shrimp dish, and it was pretty good, though honestly, Id prefer Spiedino di Mare at Carabbas any day. Nice atmosphere. Fun night out. Just an off night by the servers.

My husband and I just visited Brio for the third time for a spur of the moment date night and much like our last two visits everything was delicious! On all three occasions I have ordered the Lamb Chops because they were so tender and flavorful the first time I could not bring myself to try something new. They are now double cut rather than single cut chops and I do think I got a bit more with the single cut but they were still really good and filling. Lamb is just one of those things Im nervous to make for myself at home and Im always happy with them at Brio. My husband has ordered the Campanelle Carbonara twice because it is also just amazing, very filling and the flavors are superb - it has a smokey bacon-ness to it that is really fantastic, when he is done I scoop what sauce is left over my mashed potatoes for added deliciousness. To start, we highly recommend the Beef Carpaccio - its the best Ive ever had, and for dessert the Caramel Mascarpone Cheesecake is a must whether youre too full for dessert or not! I dont typically review beverages as they are typically pretty standard but Brio has a super refreshing White Peach Palmer that is just too good not to mention. I will admit its on the sweet side especially if you drink a few like I usually do.

We used Brio catering for an office luncheon. Tony & Kim were on top of things, had great recommendations to deal with lenten and kosher restrictions and were easy to work with. It was by far the favorite in-office menu in 20 years! Order extra if you can. Each of my co-workers went back for seconds and ate every last crumb. The only minor snafu was an important message I left with a staffer who didnt pass it on - but fortunately it was caught in time.

CHECK YOUR WATER FOR BUGS. We have been here for well over an hour. Other tables have ordered, eaten and left before we have gotten our food. Its not even a rush hour! Its 2:55! Two people at my table had bugs in their waters and the wait staff was nothing special. Sub par for the cost of the plates. When the food came out, the pizzas were not ready and came out 10 minutes after the other meals. I will definitely NOT suggest this place to others.

From the time we walked in the door until we left, we felt the staff truly cared about us being there. Our server Dalton was wonderful and so attententive. The shrimp and eggplant appetizer is a must! So delicious. The entrees were fabulous as usual. The manager Bob came to the table to talk with us and made sure everything was perfect! We will certainly be back and highly recommend. The location on the Levee is great too!

This was an anniversary dinner for my wife and I, but it was memorable in a negative way. I had a dirty plate and fork, the fork had a hair on it. My wife got bread with a hair on it. My choice was the shrimp mediterranean dish and the portion was tiny, possibly not even appetizer size. Overall, we were disappointed with the food. The restaurant was noisy and very crowded and very overrated at 4.2.

Came her for lunch after visiting the aquarium. The food was delicious! I got the pesto chicken and quinoa salad with the dressing on the side. Chicken was flavorful and wasnt dry at all. Someone else got the grilled salmon fresca and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I thought we got decent portions considering it was the lunch menu. I really like that the calories for each dish is listed on the menu.

Absolutely Delicious. Part of our Christmas tradition is to come here on Christmas Eve, yes, be jealous of our Christmas traditions. Anyway we bought a gift card, which gave us a little extra money, AND they gave us $10 gift certificates at the end of our meal, so my wife and I came back for Valentines. Incredible food, A little pricey but worth it.

Certainly not the worst Ive had but Ive had better for the same ticket. Cant really mess up wine so that was great. The server was amazing. Food was to salty overall but maybe it was just a bad night. The bed sheets hanging from the arches are odd but not that important because you dont eat them. Definitely other places nearby more worth the $100+ bill.
