The portions were large..the food moderately ok..but the egg rolls tasted like they hadnt changed the oil in quite awhile..the cleanliness was terrible! When i went to pull my chair out my hand fekt greasy..the tables and floors were dirty..the bathrooms were barely passable.dirty and no mirror available..at least thd food was hot and fresh but was not traditional Chinese food..i doubt the owners or the cook is Chinese..with plastic containers to eat from and cheap plastic forks..i felt like i was in the high school caffeteria! No ambiance what so ever..not even music playing..it was dead silent ..and the help seemed to be aloof..no way i will ever eat there again nor will i recomend it to anyone

They gave me the order wrong and when I ask politely to be change a very crazy man came out screaming from the back..." no! no money back" LOL!!! I left the food and the crazy owner behind but I recorded the incident on my phone. The food was old like from the day before. Very Loud and never ever going back there. They are many decent restaurant in Louisville, that have great costumer service and offering clean and much better food. . Horrible people cooking in the back. Smells like drunks. I read that someone didnt care for the eggrolls at this place, but Im telling you the truth that they have the best pork egg rolls Ive ever tasted. I make it a point to order extra every time I go. Ive tried an assortment of dishes from this restaurant and never had a bad meal. The portions are generous and its quite literally the best chinese food in the city. I live five minutes away, call my family order in, and its almost always ready by the time that I get there. Id give this place 10 stars if I could.

I have always received fast, good service here. They can tweak your order to your liking - for example, if you love sesame chicken, but dont want it spicy, then just tell them! Theyll make it without the hot stuff. I also have to say that Ive tried crab rangoon at many different Chinese restaurants, and Ive never been a fan until I tried theirs. Its heaven in every bite, and its always hot and fresh. Im not sure what they do so differently, but it works well! Im so happy that theyre so close to my house.

It was ok. The older lady knows her stuff but can come off as a lil rude. Everything has onions and thats a lil odd and painful since my wife has an allergy. I was just a lil disappointed that it didnt have the flavor I was lookin for. But very good price. 4 adults ate for 23$.

Just love chong garden, my mom has brought me here 20 years ago and we eat here almost every week sometimes twice.I was in the military and been all over the united states this chinese food beats every where except Hawaii.The Lady owner knows me by name.

Absolutely delicious. Highest quality Chinese takeout Ive ever had. The inside of the building is not very homely, but youre not supposed to eat inside there. Pick it up and go home. Get this food. (try the crab Rangoon)

I SOOOO LOVE THIS PLACE !!! Now for granted the inside is out dated, but the food is amazing!!! My personal opinion is that I put it up against P.F. Chang ANY TIME! And no one messes with their crab lagoons! The BEST!!!!

Best Chinese food in Louisville by far. Order the Fried Won Tong and Hunan Chicken, their fried rice is incredible also. Theyre always fast and prompt and have never screwed up my order.

ZERO STARS!!! Fried shrimp and crab ragoon gave me FOOD POISONING that lasted for 5 days. This place is awful, and gives Chinese takeout a bad name! I hope they get shut down!
