The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. Maybe this was an off day or something. First, there was no draft beer... How a beer place can not be able to serve draft beer is beyond me. Second, the bottles of beer were dwindling fast because of a busy weekend - if your draft is running low, maybe its time to bolster your bottles. Finally, veggies came out cold. Most of the food was good but not great, and the under prepared side is a good indication of the thought that goes into the dishes.

We were here with a big group, about 15-20 people. We told them a week ahead of time so they would expect us. There was only one person taking care of us, which is hard for 20 people, but it took an hour for us to have our food orders taken but the food came out fairly quickly for 20 people. One of us did get mostly raw bacon, and they forgot 3 of our dinners. Overall an "ok" experience, but we expected a little more since we called ahead and they knew we were coming.

Our family happened upon Rails by chance; there was a live band playing upstairs and a relaxed atmosphere on the first floor. I ordered the 50/50 burger (50% ground bacon meat, 100% delicious), my wife had the crab cakes (very good for Indiana), and my kids all split the gigantic chicken strips (waitress advised two orders would be enough for our three kids, she was right). Great service, good food, excellent beer selection. Well be coming back if ever in town again.

Beer cheese was very good, Monterey chicken was also good. Other entrees, 50/50 Burger, chicken cordon Bleu and bacon cheeseburger were ok. We didnt get the French onion soup that we ordered, and had to ask for cheese for the cheeseburger and honey mustard for the chicken cordon Bleu. Nice outdoor area with live music. Only one of us had beer, which was good. Server was friendly, but did forget the soup, for which she apologized. Not crowded for a Saturday night.

I liked the restaurant. Ambience is pleasant and appropriate for families, outside seating with live music very nice. Accommodation for a large group was smooth and graciously accomplished. Four stars because of a few details: forgotten salad dressing and other salad ingredients, food sauced a little heavily and thus too strong a flavor, and inaccurate description of an ordered cocktail on the menu. Would still eat there again.

Lived in Seymour over 10 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised by this newer restaurant. Great selection and the 50/50 burger was superb. Excellent atmosphere and very clean. Wait staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The bar was well stocked and drinks came out quickly. I would definitely recommend to others.

Visited just before Halloween, it was trick or treat for businesses. The streets were packed with kids. The server was dressed as Captain America and wore his shield while serving. Great job, very friendly. The decor was refreshing. Get use of great space. The food was good... not out of this world but good.

Called ahead only to be told our name was "not on the list", and wed have to wait, and be placed at the bottom of the list (not NEXT on list, even though it was their mistake). Waited 35 minutes, no offers for drinks or appetizers to take the sting off, ended up leaving frustrated and angered at their stupidity.

Disappointed! Service was not good. Ordered water with lemon and asked for lemon and didnt get lemon after asking for it 3 times. Never did get it. Got appetizer with meal instead of before and salad after our meals and appetizer. Food was just okay and we thought it was a little pricey.

Been here about 5 or 6 times, and never had a bad experience. Always hot food cooked the way we like. Only thing I would change is have more options for steak sizes. Waiters have always been on top of things and polite. Would recommend to anyone passing through Seymour.

Was quickly seated, incredibly friendly and polite staff. Service was fast and the food was incredible for the price. I recommend the BLT if you love bacon & their Mac N Cheese is pretty amazing, with white cheddar and a little something extra.

I wasnt crazy about the service. It was somewhat acceptable. I was, however, crazy about the crab cakes. They are amazing! I also had the grilled asparagus and it was terrific. The food is a little pricey - but you do get your moneys worth.

The food was great. Made with quality and presentation in mind and not just spit out a line. Waitress was really nice and tentative. Overall solid place. Kinda pricey but you get what you pay for. Anxious to try their philly!

Takes a while for service, but when approached, very kind and the food is great problem with bugs getting in which is depressing. They need to control that and the wait time and would be a 5 star restaurant for me.

A great surprise in the middle of BFE. Loved the drinks and the food was awesome. Glad to see they added such a great place to go and watch the sunset. Trust me, sit on the patio and enjoy your evening.

Good selection of beer, but if you dont know what is what, it is difficult to choose without having to ask the bartender. And nothing is brewed here. Service is so so. Not bad, but overrated in my opinion.

Ive only been here for catered company dinners and it was pretty good. Ive had steak, potatoes, and salad here. However, I hear the crab cakes are really good. They do have a good selection of alcohol.

Food is excellent, beer selection large including tap and bottled beers. Outdoor seating area on the east side of the building where they do love music. Street parking available, not difficult to get.

Great service and food. As a giant plus, they actually cook a steak how you ask. Many places when I order rare I get medium or in some places basically beef jerky... Theyre spot on at Rails!

Stumbled upon Rails while in town for a funeral... it was awesome. Had the 50/50 burger and it was ON POINT! The beer on tap was great. Would definitely go back next time I was near there.

We came in from out of town for a golf outing and stopes here to get some steaks. The rib eyes for our group were very favorable. I would recommend

Menu has decent items, just wish they had more variations of sauces. Upper scale for the town and it would be nice to have chef like variations.

Excellent 50/50 Burger has Bacon in with the Angus Beef AND Bacon on it! Very tasty. Nice range of beers. Great service, great atmosphere.
