This is BBQ at its finest! I had the brisket and it was wonderful. Very tender meat and smoked well. The baked beans were very good, and the mustard potato salad was exactly the way I like it. The only negative is that they serve only Coke products (not my favorite). While it is a "hole-in-the-wall" type restaurant, theyve decorated it with two distinct motifs: sports (lots of UK stuff), as well as Christian/motivational plaques throughout. Somehow, they make it work. Service was not great. The owner was very friendly, but the rest of the staff wasnt too helpful. I had to actually get up from the table to go ask for a refill and even then it seemed like an imposition. Because the food is so good, I will be back. Just wish they could be more customer friendly in their service.

I read the reviews and decided to try this place. Our experience was so bad I now question the validity of those good reviews. There were four of us and out our of four dinners the only thing edible were the ribs and the Mac-n-cheese, both average at best. Two of us got chicken and it was so bad I literally had to spit my out. The cole slaw was dry shredded cabbage and the beans tasted like they were out of a can. We all left our full plates there and are headed somewhere else to eat. Wasted $40

Ordered and paid for chicken. Informed that they were out of chicken and that they were unable to refund my money. I was offered a veggie plate and told I could come back the next day and get "free" chicken. Veggies tasted like they were from a can with little to no seasoning so I left them on the plate. I dont live close to this restaurant so going the next day was not practical so I lost my money.

Absolutely amazing. Our family stopped here in the middle of our drive from New Orleans to Philly, and the food was delicious. Most of us got the pulled pork sandwich, we couldnt stop raving about it! The potato salad was great, too. They dont have a huge menu, but for me that indicates that what they do, they do perfectly. And the service was awesome, everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend it!

Despite the modest appearance, this place was a pleasant surprise. I had the lunch special - pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, chips and a drink for $7.00 - and was very impressed. The pork was so good, I bought a pound to take home for dinner. The lady who took our order was very friendly. I will be eating there again.

Had the brisket, Cole slaw, tea, the flavors were excellent. I wish the sandwich was 25% bigger and the cole slaw portion was bigger. Their cole slaw is excellent. Need a to-go menu up front and a bottle of sauce on the table. Service very courteous.

Great Food and kind owner, but canned sodas are overpriced. Also, theres seems to be some inconsistency with the open hours. I think they close early when the business is slow. Call before you go to make sure theyre open.
