After living nearby for a year and a half, I have noticed a considerable change in food quality at Red Bang Bang and my prior review has become obsolete. Something has changed with this place. The General Tso and Sesame chicken are virtually no meat and all filler. The vegetables they use now very noticeably lack any sort of freshness with their browned and wilted edges. This place is now a 50/50% toss up as to whether I will leave feeling sick, pissed off and/or unsatisfied. What used to be a 1-2 time per week experience became a once every 2-3 week, which became a once per month and now after today, I will be surprised if I give this place a shot within the next 6 months. I would recommenced just about any other food service in the area as the ownership has abandoned all care and concern for food quality. (Below is my old review posted around September 2016). Chinese take-out with limited options. Extremely fast. Excellent value. 9 times out of ten the food will be fresh off the grill which means; hot, fresh and delicious.

I love this place. Good food for VERY CHEAP. Im disappointed about the earlier closing hours, but I understand that that area of town is horrible during late night hours. Two Keys bar is only a block away and in my experience some of the worst people get drunk there and spill out onto whatever nearby businesses that are open. I never go into that area late at night without pepper spray or a knife and I would be a terrible person to expect an employee to work in such a hazardous environment if it can be easily avoided. The only other gripe I have is that its almost always crowded with very loud people every time I go there. But thats not their fault and honestly the food overcomes the noise.

This is the most Awesome Concept in Chinese Food since the Chef burned the Pork, ginger, Garlic, Spring onion Dumplings black on one side and forced by announcing the forth coming Course, to deal with it, he steamed the carbon off revealing a carmelized golden brown which he arranged on the platters atop a bed of finely shredded Napa and Bok Choi and the "Emporers New favorite Dish" of "Pan Fried Dumplings" was born. Red bang bang serves a select few, - but Always Fresh, Oriental favorites at an economy Price, Campus dwellers eat here 7 days a week.... Me too!!!!

Ill give it 4 1/2 stars overall. The food is standard Asian restaurant fare, but tasty. The price is insane. $1 for any item you want. The guy whos always working the counter when I go is really nice, offering samples if youre not sure what you want. em me is probably the one with the real bad attitude, and no doubt has next to zero patience. The world doesnt bow to you, em me.

Never had too long of a wait, food has always been hot and flavorful. Only one item was not ready in the few times I have visited, but overall there isnt a better "bang for your buck." To top it off they are open until 3:30am Thursday-Saturday... Great food for $1 after 1am = A college kids dream (Goodbye forever McDonalds and Taco bell)

Went to the one behind the mall. As a sushi lover I am not really impressed. The roll Is loose and terribly dry. The store was clean and there were many choices. To much rice to ingredient ratio. I think Ill stick to hananoki...best sushi in town.

Its exactly how they say it: "more bang for your buck". Great food and amazing service. One of the workers even ran over and picked up my phone when I dropped it haha. Will definitely come here often.

Food was good, and at $1 per scoop of food the price is pretty reasonable too. The menu selection is kind of limited though, but I dont see how they would have the physical room to expand it.

Great food but little waiter/cleaner girl was incredibly rude. Even if your food is amazing when you have someone who is so stuck up and rude working it makes for a undesirable experience.

Cheap, simple, hot, tasty. As an extremely poor kid, this is pretty high class for me. Lotta meat, lotta noodles, little price. Its the taco-bell of carry out.

Amazing price for good food. We definitely enjoy this restaurant! The spicy tofu is very good and the veggies are very quality. Also lots of other options.

Great for the price, but nothing special. If youre a broke college student, or saving some money, this is a great place to get some quick and good food.

Decent food at extremely low prices, and very fast! Staff have been friendly, and sauces (such as sweet & sour) are self-serve, which is convenient.

You get what you pay for. Its decent for what it is. Dollar a scoop Chinese food with a limited selection featuring the most popular Chinese fare.
