ZERO STARS! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I have never been treated worse in my life by the owner of a business. My cousin was booked here to perform as a local musician from 7:30-10 pm on a Sat. night. I have been to many of his shows and there are normally a large number of people who come to see him perform wherever he is. My aunt (his mom) called 2 weeks ahead of time to reserve space for 19 people, for his family. We went early to check on the reservation, the staff started to put together our tables and shortly after, the owner stopped the staff and came to talk to my aunt and myself. He said that the tables could not be pushed together as HIS staff began to do so, even though tables a few rows over were pushed together in a similar fashion. We understood that the owner was concerned about optimizing his seating capacity so we were ok with separating the tables back out and sitting separately. We came back about an hour before the performance was to begin to order drinks and food. The staff began filling tables with other people that were supposed to be reserved for us. We were able to save 4 of the tables for a total of 12 seats (for 19 people). On top of that other friends that made separate reservations werent accommodated either. There were almost 30 people just coming to see my cousin perform that wouldn’t have normally been there. So many people, that most had to stand around our tables because no tables were reserved as promised. It took 30 minutes before anyone decided to serve us, including even getting menus, which we had to ask for. It took forever to get anything we ordered. My cousin began on time, the music was great, wasn’t too loud. After the first set, my cousin was pulled aside by the owner and told that “his family was taking up too many tables that could be better used by other customers” and either we all had to leave or he had to leave. Not only did the owner ask us to leave but insulted my entire family by assuming my pregnant cousin (my 18yr old cousins sister) was his girlfriend with a 2yr old baby. My cousin began packing up his stuff after telling my aunt and uncle what happened. Understandably, my family was furious at the level of treatment we were being given and multiple staff members apologized for how the owner was behaving. Under the state of confusion of being asked to leave, my aunt went to talk to the owner, thinking it was a misunderstanding. The owner proceeded to say that if we didn’t leave he would call the police on us. Not sure what he thought would happen when he told them that people were taking up his tables, buying food and drinks, while listening to a musician he booked himself. The owner hid in the back as my cousin packed his equipment and we had to inform everyone who came to see my cousin that we now had to leave. We were all stunned at how we were being treated. It then took the staff another 30 minutes to get all of our checks from the food and drinks that we had ordered. After my cousin packed up and our tabs were paid we went outside. We are a large group of people, most of which were still confused as to why my cousin was asked to leave. Some people who were just showing up to see him perform were confused as to why we were all outside so we started to talk about what had just happened. The owner then came outside to video us talking to one another about the situation that just transpired at his own hands, claiming we were warding off other patrons. To anyone wanting to go with a group of people or any musicians wanting to find somewhere to perform AVOID THIS PLACE. Not only will we never come back but anyone we have ever met or will ever meet will know not to go there. This was definitely a lesson for us, I hope that a strong from response from the community will show the owner that treating customers and hired musicians this way will not be tolerated. If the owner didn’t want people to come see a musician perform he should not book anyone. I am still very confused at the whole situation and hope no one ever has to go through what we did.

I went to enjoy a night out listening to live music with my friends and family. Half way through the evening, we were all asked to leave by the most nasty owner of a business I have ever met. I am pregnant so I cannot drink or eat sushi. However, every single person there to listen to the music besides myself was drinking. In fact, most of them were waiting on the bar to get their drinks to them because there were not enough staff members to accommodate the number of people there. According to the owner it was a business decision to ask us to leave because the 5 tables we were using and drinking at could be better used by other guests!!! If you are a pregnant woman, have a group of people looking for a night out, or just plan on listening to your favorite musician booked to play there you are actually not welcome by this new owner. He should post his discriminating rules at the door so you have the opportunity to make a decision to go elsewhere prior to spending your money in a place that you are treated with such disrespect. If you dont want groups of people coming to listen to live music, then stop booking them for your restaurant. The owner actually told Kyle he could continue to play but everyone that came there to see him had to leave. That is exactly opposite of how a good business owner treats people that they hire and the new guests that come to enjoy his place. He actually had the nerve to threaten to call the police on us and tried to film us standing outside on the sidewalk accusing of us telling "his customers" not to come in. The only people that were trying to come in were people there to see the live music. They were Kyles fans not his customers. I hope the City Of Woodstock looks into how he treated everyone there that night. His own staff were apologizing for his behavior and telling us they were sorry we were treated so unfairly by him. Its sad to see a place like that bring such negativity to a great new Downtown area. Anyone should be able to enjoy a night out at a place promoting live music without being threatened because this owner thinks he can treat people however he wants. We all know the local musician community is a tight one, so we will stick together and do business with places that actually care about more then themselves.

I used to visit Ice frequently for drinks and sushi. I never had a less than spectacular experience until New Years 2017. They had been advertising a New Years party with a $20 cover charge. My fiancé had called them that afternoon to confirm whether or not we needed a reservation. He was advised we did not. He was told that all we had to do was arrive at 9pm when the event was due to commence. So we complied. As soon as we arrived, we were taken to the bar to pay for our covers with our debit cards. The woman who assisted us then told us she would look for a table to reserve for us. A few minutes passed and we still hadnt heard from her. So we saw her pass us and we asked her about the table. She told us nothing was available that she could reserve. Ordinarily, I would think nothing of this. But the fact that she didnt even return to let us know the verdict of finding a table did not sit well with me. Slowly, but surely, we were realizing that we were wasting our time after having wasted our money. So the hostess advised us to try to return at 10:30 when the DJ was scheduled to be there. (Remember when were told to be there at 9?) We did what we could to kill time and returned at 10:30 as we were advised. When we went back, there was still no availability. The same hostess who advised us to come back at 10:30 advised us to try coming back at 11. By that point, we were so frustrated about all the time we had wasted. So we left for good. We phoned Hudson Grille Kennesaw and asked if they were busy. We were told that they werent and there was certainly no cover! And guess what? They too have a DJ! So we happily relocated there.
