Food lacks in flavor. Sauce is just OK, Overall very overpriced. 4-6oz of pork on a wonder bun for 5.99 with no sides? Wow! They think highly of themselves. As a former Smokehouse owner, I find it inexcusable that not one out of the several people working were educated on the product they are serving. Maybe in KY a rib is a rib to most, but when I come in with the notion to order a dozen racks for a weekend party and not one person can tell me what type of ribs they are is ridiculous. "They are yeah big and yummy" is the answer I got from one and a whole bunch of I dont knows form the kitchen. There is a big difference between Baby Back, St.Louis or traditional Spare Ribs. I personally what like to know what I am ordering for the money spent. That make a huge difference in the amount of meat you get on a slab. No Brisket? I wont even comment on that one. In the future I will find another pace to seek my BBQ crave.

Theyve got the best BBQ sandwich in the Hopkinsville-Pembroke area. Perhaps in all of Western Kentucky, ever since Knockum Hill went out of business. These people know exactly what theyre doing. Their menu is a science. So, so good. I wont go anywhere else for BBQ. They have an ATM inside, but they dont accept cards, so take cash to avoid the fee at the machine!

WOW!!!! Great ribs (fall off the bone), pulled pork and chicken. Hot slaw is a must. Green beans were flavorful if a bit soft. Unsweet iced tea was perfect. Hot bbq sauce was the bomb. Recommend this place. Seating was close but not too bad. Nice people work here. :)

Bland food, very mediocre, service lacking. Finally had to ask for refill, place was not busy, waitress walked past me twice to check on table in the corner. Burgoo, veggie stew with pulled pork, was the best thing. Ribs, mutton and chicken all unremarkable.

You cant go wrong eating anything at the BBQ Shack! It serves mutton, chicken, pork. Its been around for years, and the quality of the food continues to be first-rate. Go there once, and youll make every effort to return again and again.

Bar-B-Q was great,very tender & moist. The burgoo needs improvment. The Cloe Slaw was great. Going back to try other things. Heard the green beans are wonderful. The staff was very nice & friendly. I give it 4 stars.

Absolutely the best ribs Ive ever eaten in my life. Fall off the bone tender. Perfectly balanced smoke flavor. Simply the best. Sides, especially the potato salad and burgoo, almost equaled the ribs. Deeelish!
