Better this visit today for lunch. Cant beat the salad bar! Saturday night dinner was a disaster. My husband ordered Mahi Mahi with steamed veggies (was told salad bar did not come with entree) Our waitress came back after 10 min and asked my husband "what is Mahi Mahi, it isnt in the computer?" We showed her the mahi mahi on the menu. Well, after a 45 minute wait on our food, he got the blackened catfish instead of Mahi Mahi with one Side of only broccoli. After viewing the menu today, I read the menu and both the blackened catfish and Mahi Mahi did come with salad bar. We did not complain that night. The place was busy, I could tell she was a new server, and our 2 year old was ready to get out of the restaurant and already full from the rolls after the first hour and so were we.

This has always been our "go-to" restaurant in Lawrenceburg since we moved here from Florida several years ago. We took our pastor out last Sunday for Clergy Appreciation Day and were very disappointed!! We had taken our out-of-town guests there in May for graduation and they thought it was great (food and value) and so did we, however this last Sunday we see they quality, value and presentation has gone down considerably!! The prices had increased, yet the amount and the quality of the food was substandard! We are disappointed, as this was the restaurant where we always take guests out to dinner (both personally and special guests that come to our church).

We stopped here last night while passing through Lawrenceburg. I agree with other reviewers that the staff is very friendly and the salad bar most delicious. The new Louisiana Ranch dressing kicks things up. I tried the ribeye, and while it was cooked as I asked, the quality of steak was poor and tough. I realized upon second glance at the menu, and confirmed online today, that this pricey regional chain does not advertise "choice" cuts of steaks. They only serve the cheapest "select" cuts at choice prices. The lack of marbling and aging is evident. I recommend you stick with a chicken dish here.

Service was good. Salad Bar was good. My French fries were all about an inch long and hard. Every thing else was good with the exception of lime pie and Hershey cake. We got our desserts to go to eat at the motel room. The portion was half the size of what is displayed in the dessert cooler at the register. They were fine but not exceptional. I could make them out of a box and it would of tasted as good. Worth your time to eat at if your in the area. The Smyrna, TN location of this chain is much tastier.

Moved to Tennessee in 2008, we would come through Lawrenceburg during our move and often wondered how the food was. We finally stopped in June 2014 and I must say it was excellent, the food and service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area. I was most impressed with the SIDE SALAD!! It was the biggest side salad ever placed before me. The prices were very reasonable as well. Rated a 5 Star Plus. Will be returning. I had the Alpine Chicken and it was superb.

One of the two best restaurants in Lawrenceburg (Strikers now gives the Lantern a run for their money). Unique offering with their salad bar and "Johnnys fruit tea". Good steaks, burgers, chicken, pasta, you name it! Also, best service at a full-service restaurant in town. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I personally think Strikers food is better.

The staff was friendly and the food was great. The food here is better than the Legends in Florence. Not sure if they just have better cooks or what, but theres just something different about Brass Lantern. I eat here every chance I get. They keep the place clean and its generally not too noisy. Highly recommended.

Always getting our take out order wrong. I dont mean every other time we order I Mean every single time. It makes us not want to get food from here. The dine in experience is a lot better but we cant always go in. It would be nice to have the same food dine in and dine out but even the food proportion is different.

Brass lantern is like any restaurant. It is one of my favorite restaurant that is close by within 15 mins. The restaurant has a salad bar that is delicious and probably the crown jewel of the restaurant. It does have typical problems, but more times than naught my food is done.

If you are ever in the area go here, dont think about about it just do it, you will not regret this. Everytime my co-workers or myself are in the area we make it a point to to drop by. Friday and Saturday nights are usually busy so be prepared but it is worth the wait!

Food under cooked. Cheeseburger was RAW in the middle. I feel sick!! Kids got their food last. One childs food was cold. Waitress Amber was rude. I wont be back. I never had these problems with Legends. Party of 9. Horrible experience!!

The Brass Lantern is a fun place, great atmosphere, good food. I was a little dissapointed with the salad bar...could have used a few more items. Otherwise a fine dining experience.

The wait staff was helpful and pleasant. We got there shortly after the lunch rush and the salad bar was in disarray. The mask was otherwise pretty tasty.

This is the best dinner in town. Usually a wait on the weekend. No worries, they have a drive through.
