as an obsessed Coffee guy....this place is the best...you will NOT have a bad cup of coffee. Mark (the owner) & his staff are EXPERTS in different coffee brewing techniques. Ive only been to one shop that I know of where the staff has so much knowledge about coffee & brewing. They feature Carabello coffee that is roasted in Newport, KY. The coffee is only days/weeks old giving you the freshest cup possible. I come here routinely with my laptop & headphones to do work. If I could give it 10 stars I would. You will NOT be disappointed by this peaceful, beautiful decorated with a home feel coffee shop.

I want to thank the owner for giving my sons bicycle a tune up at the last minute. My son is in the Air Force down in Mississippi and asked that I bring him his bike the day before we were leaving to visit him. I called around and nobody else could look at it for several days. I explained my situation and the owner said bring it in and he would check it out. He gave it a good tune up new brakes etc and it rides like new. I also had a cup of coffee while i was waiting and it was delicious. Thanks again for your prompt service!!!

Horrible service... first in line, ordered two drinks, and after 15 minutes we checked to see whats up and they had not even started them. We told the barista to not even bother and left. I do the Louisville to Detroit drive often and always try to stop at the local places in-between. Velocity failed big time. Its a shame because the shop had a great vibe, decor, and other reviews suggest its pretty good most times. But if you do not have competent baristas on all shifts, youre only hurting yourself.

This place has so much character and the service is great. I have yet to take my bike in for a tune-up but they must be good because once theyre booked up for the summer, theyre booked up! Also, I cant believe I missed Catfish when they were in town! I love that show. They chose a great location for filming. Keep up the great work.

I went here one Saturday morning with my husband and his family. We had a great time! There are tons of games to play at the table if you enjoy that kind of thing. The atmosphere is peacful. The staff is wonderful. The bike shop is very cool too. If you like buying local I recommend giving this place a try.

This is one of the rare places I can relax, drink a coffee or chai, and think. The atmosphere is fun and interesting. The owners are friendly and helpful. You can sit, take out, talk with a friend or just be. There is live music which is always great. A perfect place for a moment out of the "real world."

This is a review of the bike shop portion only. I dropped my bike off nearly two months ago and I finally found out just last week that its finished. No one called to notify me and it took more than a dozen calls over a two week period just to get someone on the phone.

By far the best coffee shop in Northern Kentucky, and best that I have ever been to. You cant find a nicer group of people, than those who work at velocity. Nice to come home from college and be greeted by familiar faces, who actually know you and your name.

Very help full people. I made a very rookie mistake and they were more than happy to tell me how to try to fix it. I will be going to them for all my cycling needs from now on. Much better than the big box shops where a lot of times your just a number.

So disappointing :( I wish I wouldve known it would take 15-20 minutes to make two drinks, or else I wouldnt have gone in when I needed a quick pick-me-up. We had to leave before we got the drinks we paid for; so thats $6 + tip down the drain.
