I have visited this pub about 6 times in total spanning across a period of time before and after their official grand opening. Their food is good but over priced. I expect to pay prices that reflect a pub and not prices Id expect from a sit down family restaurant. They are frequently out of many menu items or just arent serving food at that time at all, or so Ive been told on a number of occasions. Their drinks are good but the pub doesnt have a drink menu making customers, wanting anything other than wine, ask the bar tender "whats good". The majority Ive seen has been tequila sunrises, vodka sours, and random combinations of whisky and soda. Ive had a few drinks made wrong and Ive heard other customers complain about the same. The service is terrible to say the least. There is no organization or direction to the working staff. Its not common to walk through the doors and have no one recognize you. Apparently they are supposed to have waitresses or thats how it was before the grand opening but now they are no where to be seen. The only thing you will ever get to drink there is alcohol because Ive been seated and ordered a coke with fried pickles and waited 30 minutes flagged down another waitress and still never got my drink or food. They have really bad business practices too; sometimes they card sometimes they dont, sometimes they have security sometimes they dont, sometimes they honor reservations sometimes they dont. I had high hopes for this business but I would never give a recommendation to anyone now.

The atmosphere and decor of this place are nice and interesting. Between the alcohol and names of some of the menu items, the place is not very child-friendly, and we liked having a more adult place to go, but the good ends there. The waitress was friendly, but very slow. It took an hour and a half from the time we arrived until we left, and we were only there for dinner, not to stay and hang out. The appetizer was good. The rest was not. The sandwiches were very bland, like chewing on a sponge. A Reuben should have Thousand Island dressing, not mustard. Maybe theres a reason its called a "Bitchin Reuben", since thats what it makes you want to do. The desserts are not made from scratch as advertised. We recognized the coconut cream pie as being exactly the same as one you can buy in the frozen section of a grocery store, and it was still frozen in the middle! The whipped cream on the desserts is frozen Cool Whip. We waited more than 15 minutes for our check, and after we put the card in it, waited another 10 before finally just leaving cash and walking out the door. It was not busy while we were there. We saw three servers and only about 5 tables were in use. All together, we had two non-alcoholic drinks, an appetizer, two sandwiches and two desserts and the total was about $50. Absolutely overpriced for the service and quality of food.

This place always looked super cool to me, I had really planned to go here- but the new sign in the window was a HUGE turn off for me. This place advertises itself with as a "poke rest," with "team color drinks," for sale with the new Pokemon go game out and all, yet turns away Pokemon players to even use the restroom without buying something! If youre going to be that stingy at least allow someone to pay a quarter to use the damn John. I go to the square almost every night, and know from experience theres only TWOA PLACES, in the whole area to use the restroom, this place being one of them. Turning away POTENTIAL customers from the get go isnt a great way to get new ones. I certainly wont be having a Pokemon drink here! Who knows, maybe someone who comes in to pee smells some amazing food and sits down for a meal, or a drink... Anyways, I now wont be one of those customers. Nor will I bring any of my Pokemon go friends here either.

This place needs to get it together if theyre ever going to survive! The food was bad and expensive, the service was bad...never got a refill, never got silverware. We were brought different food than what we ordered because they were "out" of what we ordered. So without even saying, just brought something else! Also, we were given the little books with the check in it that you put your credit card in. The card that went with each check was in their respective book. When we got the books back, the cards were charged for other peoples bill that were at the table with our original ticket still in it. How do you even do that when each ticket/card is in its own book?!! Also, it says you need a reservation?? At a pub? Anyway, we put a request in for a reservation but never got a response. We just went anyway and it wasnt busy. Its decorated great on the inside, but thats about all Ive gotten out of this place!

What happened to the quality of the food? When it first opened I called this place my new favorite restaurant. I would treat myself out each week and bring a friend each time so they could try the expertly prepared and delicious food. The food doesnt taste as good anymore. Even the desserts which were said to be homemade and tasted like a expert made it have dwindled down to tasting like Betty Crocker cake mix and ready-made frosting. I agree with the other comments about the Sheppards pie not tasting as good. The bread pudding I raved about to all my friends and colleagues is hit or miss (sometimes burnt and dry). Never like it was when they first opened. And the fresh produce which used to be bought locally from farms is now bagged lettuce bought from Kroger (as I was told on my last visit). My favorite place is no longer on my list of place to treat myself after a week of hard work. Sad, so sad.

Really disappointed with our visit on Friday night. It was extremely LOUD and there were so many small children there. There were seven children, ages about 13 to 6, at two tables near the restroom (where we were seated) and I really dont know who was watching over them. I guess I am getting too old to handle the noise and really dont think even at 8:30 pm that children need to be in a pub, so we wont be going back to the Wicked Eyed Woman. We talked with the owner. She basically asked if we had paid our tab and didnt mind if we left!! We didnt even finish our drinks... had planned to order food, but we were too uncomfortable. The Bourbon Barrel Tavern just down from here will be getting all our future business.

It was their grand opening night. At first I was thinking we made a mistake because of wait time. When we were seated, the staff could not have been more attentive and friendly. And the food! The food! The salads were fresh, and the Scotch Eggs appetizer was fabulous. My husband had the Bourbon Pork Shoulder and it was wonderful. I had the Shepherds pie and it was to die for. Portions are big. After we finished eating we visited with the owner and her manager; incredible women. We are from out of the area but will return to The Wicked Eyed Woman when in town again. Definitely a must go to place.
