When it was open before, it was my favorite restaurant. The food was cooked, sauced, and seasoned to perfection. The staff was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to work around allergies. They remembered us the second time we went in and asked about someone who was in our party the first time, but wasnt able to make it the second. It was a fantastic place that I was sorely sorry to see close. It has recently re-opened, I can only presume under new management. The staff was stuck-up, rude, and when I mentioned my allergy they told me the only thing they could bring me to eat was plain vegetables with no sauce or anything. When I asked if there was any way for them to cook something without it, they said no "because it wouldnt taste right". I dont know about you guys, but Id rather have food that didnt taste right than no food or food that tasted like death. The previous cook managed to make dishes without it and all of them tasted amazing. We were so upset by their treatment of us that we walked out. The one person who had got their drink paid for it, and we just went to 2B Thai down the road. Not worth going to. They didnt just lose one customer with an allergy, they lost at least three and likely a few more once our coworkers and friends hear. Never going back.

On a few occasions I have eaten at this restaurant at this new location off Ring Road and Dixie and at the old location off the I-65 at exit 94 (Executive Drive?). Every time I go I am floored at the staff and how wonderful they are. Always attentive, greeting patrons as they enter and watching to make sure they are filling empty glasses, taking care of your every need. Food is absolutely delicious. If you dont know what you want, they can help find something that will surely please your palate. A must stop when out for a drive or to feed that hunger. Vegan or not they can appease any appetite. Do try this establishment, again and again!

The food is incredible. Perhaps the best restaurant in Elizabethtown. Everything on the menu from traditional Punjabi cuisine to the Indo-Chinese dishes are outstanding. The chef has travelled the world extensively and his style reflects his travels. The dishes are not at all homogenous or bland, each dish stands out on its own with subtle nuances in spice and texture. Finally Elizabethtown has an independently owned restaurant that is worth every bit of your time and money spent there; Lets support it and keep it in business! I would strongly recommend trying it out if your tastebuds are curious. You wont be disappointed.

The food was awesome the waiter was an ass. I got there at 2:20 the buffet shuts down at 2:30...He askes if I wanted the buffet I said yes...after eating my first plate it was after 2:30 and 60% of the food was missing when I asked if more was coming out he said no its after 2:30...I said, so Im being charged for a buffet that there is no food on...He repeated, its after 2:30 so no more food will be placed on the buffet. Before I could ask for a manager a female stepped in and asked what I wanted and brought it to the table....other than that the food was awesome.

I went there over the weekend. The service was very good. The atmosphere was nice and the building very clean and pretty. The food was good. I will say that my palate was not quite ready for the taste though. The curry was very powerful and the food was something I just wasnt used to. The manager was so nice and gave great suggestions for a future visit and 10% off. I think I will go back during the week so that I can try the buffet and maybe find another dish I will like. All in all, I did like the restaurant.

Everytime I go to Namaste, I leave stuffed for less than $15. The curry is really tasty, but I always order the mildest spiciness b/c any higher than that, and it gets uncomfortable to eat. I like that it is family style eating. The dishes come in large bowls with a side of rice, and everyone gets their own plate so sharing is very easy. The servers there are very friendly, and they dont cringe when I (pitifully) mispronounce the food of their culture. Great Indian food in little old Elizabethtown, KY.

The buffet is great on Sundays and more importantly the wait staff is great at making recommendations. If you do not like "hot" at all request 0 spice. If you like the "hot" table sauce at area Mexican restaurants ask for medium spice. Excellent service, great food, and it breaks up the burger or burrito monotony in Elizabethtown. This is my favorite restaurant on the big E!

Excellent in every way. Freshly made dishes, spiced to your taste, served directly from the chef to you - no time under the lamp. The owner took our order after asking each of us what we preferred, how spicy we liked our dishes and other questions aimed at making sure we knew the differences between the menu offerings. Well be back and strongly recommend Namaste.

Delightful experience! My wife and I ordered the Scallop mint Masala as app, the Lamb Korma mild and Lamb Vindaloo hot and some garlic bread. Also the mango Lassi and berry Lassi and let me tell you, FAN-TAS-TIC! All of it! And the service was on point with constant attention but so much as to over power the experience. Great spot! Will be back for sure!

In some ways, I am baffled by the fact that this exceptional Indian restaurant exists in Elizabethtown, KY. But in other ways, I dont care. I eat at Namaste every time duty brings me to Fort Knox; it is the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Both buffet and menu items are quality food, full of delicious flavor, and the staff is very courteous.

Visited during dinner time, clean restaurant and friendly staff. We had the chicken Tikka masala, Bhuna Ghost and the lamb Korma. All dishes were awesome and very filling, best Indian food Ive had in a long time. Mango lassi yogurt drink was delicious and creamy. Not cheap but worth every penny, money well spent.

Im not an Indian food expert. I did enjoy the many buffet offerings. Tandoori chicken and naan bread are so flavorful then using the bread to capture the many sauces makes the meal. Polite servers and you feel welcome. A good experience. Have been back already and wife is asking to go again.

Clean, warm inviting interior decor. Exotic dinnerware. The best cooked white rice, fragrant, steamy, with perfect texture! The best most complexly seasoned but refined tomato soup anywhere. Everything is yummy including red wine and iced tea. Very polite and hospitable staff.

I was so excited to see that Elizabethtown got a new restaurant, especially an ethnic one and not another steak or hamburger joint. This place has excellent food and service. I highly recommend it. It was some of the best Indian food I have had. I am so happy its here.
