Absolutely horrendous. My mother came to town for a visit, which she can hardly do anymore, and we chose to go somewhere we had thought was regularly good service. To start, we were seated at a table and there were flies everywhere. I mean, I counted at least ten on the window by our table. The service was slow at best, by the time we were served food, we had gone through our drinks, which were also very poorly made and just tasted crummy, like something youd be served at a fast food joint. 10$ tea for the four of us together. Doesnt help that they were served hot in ice, so they became luke-warm sugar-water. Onto the food; My mother got a French Toast...whatever its called, but it was strawberry. It was DRENCHED in this horrid pink strawberry sauce, was doughy and raw on the inside, and was completely a mess. It looked like a child had dumped pink paint on the plate, which Ill provide an image for below. In the image we had only opened the french toast, the smears were already there on the rim of the plate, it was THAT BAD. Myself and my step-father had a open-faced omelette that looked worse than something youd get in the frozen food aisle, and if it wasnt raw like my mothers meal, it was burnt. The family behind us looked like someone had just shot their dog they were so upset. They even had issues getting a manager because of how slow the waitresses were. It all came around to be 50$ The service was slow and youd get a better meal for less anywhere in town. As someone who used to worship this place as a kid, I cant say its even a shadow of its former self. More like a grease-stain on a piece of pavement.

There isnt a way to make it a -star, THE WORSE experience EVER at a Bob Evans restraunt. We got there at 10:15 am, were told 10-15 minutes to wait...so we waited... And waited....AND WAITED!!! Food stacked u see the warming area WAITING to be served...and waiting..... and waiting....plus, we see there are at the very least from where we could see that there was five to six EMPTY tables, and yet lots of people waiting to be seated. Many people started walking out...after our 10-15 minute wait turned into 45 minutes, and the windows having ALL THAT FOOD still sitting there, we figured that if we did take a chance and wait to be seated that it would then take even more time to be waited on and then who knows how long our food would be sitting there waiting to be served once it finally got cooked. So we decided to leave as well. At the time we left everyone that had come in after us had left except for 3 people sitting outside waiting when we told them what we had observed .....they left as well!!! We were in Bowling Green Kentucky to help with our daughter having had surgery. We are from Saint Marys, Ohio... We have NEVER had this situation around home!! We eat at Bob Evans in Celina, Ohio, Wapakoneta, Ohio, Lima, Ohio, and in Van Wert Ohio......

When we first went in the floor was wet at 7 o clock not just the front area but also the hostess area without a sign. Then I needed to take my 6 month old to the bathroom and the floor in front of the bathroom was slick as well with not water but silver force if you have worked in food service you know that silver force will leave anything you use it on super slippery. I then trying to take care of my son fell in their mess while holding him and busted my knee lucky my baby is ok. I then told the waitress and instead of apologizing for what happened and correct the situation she started to tell me how bad her morning was. We got our food and my eggs were over cooked, potatoes were burnt, and my Hollandaise was hard. The coffee was decent at least.

The food was good. However the staff was terrible. They acted like we were interrupting their afternoon. Took for ever to take our order then all the food did not arrive at one time. Getting a drink refill was an ordeal and then the classes were slammed on the table. To finish up the visit the check was brought to our table and left and we were told she would be gone for her 15 minute smoke break and to pay at the front. Only problem with that, my husband had not received his dessert. There was only two other people in the restaurant and so they have no excuses for the lack of service. Not real sure why you would want to run your business this way.

Stopped for quick Sunday morning breakfast in Bowling Green. Not busy, should have been our first hint of something amiss. There were 6 empty tables just in our section. It took 25 minutes to get an egg, grits, bacon and biscuit. No apologies or explanation. When we were leaving, when cheerfully asked "how WAS everything??!" we said "not very good, the service was awfully slow" she looked at us like we were rude? Very disappointed. Breakfast out should be a treat, something special. Bob Evans used to be consistent in their food and service.

Sweet tea was Burnt, Salad was wilted, marinara sauce was cold, and the waitress wasnt very informative on the meals. Be sure to not show up before their delivery truck does or you mite not be able to get a meal of choice. The place was clean. It has a waffle house style seating. For the first time in the years of going out trying new places this is the first time we didnt ask for a to go box. We asked for the manager to ask some quick questions and got a team of waitresses behind him. And had to explain why we were asking questions.

Im a fan of Bob Evans whenever traveling. Stopped at the location on Three Springs Rd, had an awesome experience, couldnt get seated! No hostess, she was outside smoking. We saw her & another employee wearing a purple shirt when we pulled in & parked. After waiting several minutes, we left & went to Cracker Barrel. The lady in the purple shirt did extinguish het cigarette once we got into the car, & she headed back to work. Very disappointed.

I am not going to give a bad review for having a not so great waitress. This was the second time I have been. The first time we went thr food was really good and the server was great. This last time I was frustrated with the waitress because she did not seem to listen very well but the food was still good. If I had a good waitress again the I would have given 5 stars.

My sympathy with the waitresses and waiters on New Years Eve. Cooks did not show up for work. Many customers mad with them and left after nearly an hour of waiting. The place is not even crowded with people. If management is not going to do something about this, we might sloose Bob Evans real soon to Roosters, IHOP, Olive Garden, OCharlie, etc.

When we arrived it was 15 minutes to closing. They insisted we sit and order anyway. We were the only customers in there as the others left after our arrival. The food was great, fresh, and hot. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because one of the workers was rude and unprofessional to another worker in front of everyone.
