Okay so...cousin wanted to eat here, I said okay and we waited for about thirty minutes and the people behind us sat down on the bench and were seated before us....we got seated right after and right next to them...assholes knew we were waiting before them for a while and didnt bother to tell the lady. People behind us get seated and those behind them get seated then we ordered our food. I ordered tonkotsu and cuzzo got the Yokohama thing. As we conversed, the table to my right got their food (I sat facing the wall in front of the door). Then the table to my left got their food. Then the table to their left got their food. The table to my left ordered the same ramen we ordered and got theirs before ours. The employees were all just standing there talking while I was looking dumbfounded as to why we havent received our food especially before them when we ordered before them. They finally realized we didnt have our food and cooked it up and served it to us. Cousin liked his, but mine was pretty bland. So, crap service and average-ish ramen. I knew I should have just told my cousin I wanted My Tho.

We were seated quickly and the girls were very nice. Ive been dreaming about Ramen since I saw Ramen Girl. Maybe I got the wrong dish it was the #1 Ramen dish on the menu. The broth was creamy and not bad but as I kept eating it really didnt have any depth to it. IF I go back I will order the ramen with clear broth and more vegetables. The ladies I was with also just gave their food 2 stars. They ordered the Teriyaki Chicken. It was just rice and chicken. Once again we thought it needed some vegetables. It was very crowded. I was really excited to try this place and left disappointed.

Disappointed. I just had amazing Ramen on a vacation in Australia and was looking forward to trying our new local Ramen locale!. Unfortunately they are the only restaraunt Ive been to that stops taking orders before they are actually closed. Their business hours on Google state they are open until 9pm but they actually stop taking orders at 830. They werent very friendly about letting us know either...i think they had probably just had a long day and were ready to get home. None the less, we left disappointed. May just stick to the good pho restaurants in town instead.

Its very crowded and they seat people as logically as possible to fit in the most customers, which means two couples may share a four-person table which I dont mind at all. The ramen itself is authentic. Weve traveled to Japan and you must know that ramen is not a fancy food, its lower class and meant to be filling and simple, were not talking rich or complicated. Presentation of the dishes was great, and we left full and satisfied. Its somewhat kid friendly, but were in the US so no one will turn you away with a kid. Our 2 year old daughter loves it here.

Its good food and reasonably fast service, but it seems the noodles are of relatively low quality - cheap mass produced ones. The restaurant has an authentic feel to it. Theres not a lot of seating due to size so be prepared to wait a few minutes on the bench for someone to clear out - but the crowd seemed to recognize this and it flows very smoothly, helped by quick-acting staff. They have some wonderful appetizer dishes and Boba drinks, as well as vegetarian options. Pricing is reasonable. They do not serve alcohol.

There needs to be a greeter. The lady that seated us doesnt know what she is doing. She forgot that there are people sitting outside waiting to get in. While waiting to get in we were surpassed to get in. Eventhough we were there first. Got in only to wait another 30 min for food. I ordered the yokohama style which i thought was delightful but a bit on the salty side. The gf ordered spicy miso ramen. Was surprisingly lighter than mine and not as spicy as anticipated but with the help of sriraccha it was perfect

Although Im very happy to be able to have "close to authentic" ramen here in Wichita, I stopped going there as I was extremely disappointed about cold ramen or hiyashi chuka. That is not hiyashi chuka, and soup was not good at all. The Shoyu ramen is most authentic IMHO. Gyoza and shumai, was pretty good, but cant believe they do not have vinegar. Any ramen restaurants in Japan has vinegar for gyoza and ramen. I really wanted to love this restaurant but Ill just make it myself from now on.

This place has my vote for a tie for the best fried rice in Wichita. The other being thai traditions basil fried rice. The pork fried rice and chicken fried rice was amazing. Ask for the homemade hot paste to add to it. Unlike some reviewers, our ramen came out fresh and hot. We had the only completely gluten free option and the flavor was very good. Wait staff was very friendly. The place is small and cramped but that is what adds to the character. I will definitely eat here again.

I was a little disappointed with the ramen I had. I had Shoyu ramen which is a soy sauce based broth, but it literally tasted like they threw an entire bottle of soy sauce and water in my bowl & called it ramen; the end result was super salty. (Im literally salty... -.-) The joint was really cramped but thats how it is in Japan so it kinda added an authentic touch. But being the only ramen joint in Wichita, I cant really hate. Id come back again. Just tone down on the salty.

The food was not good at all. The service sucked people just stand around and talk. they dont come back to ask if things are good or refill your drink, the tall white guy and short Asian lady are super rude. The ramen is cheap and this place will not last long at this rate. once the newness wears off it will close like every other poor excuse for a restaurant dose. We have been there 3 times and the same thing so its not like we only went one time. We gave it a fair chance.

I ordered the tuna salad and they were out of tuna. I asked for a salad with something else and they said they didnt even have lettuce. Why is it on the menu? The tables are REALLY close so dont expect to have a private conversation. Service was ok. One waitress couldnt communicate well but both were friendly. I had ramen shirmp. It was ok. I like supporting local businesses but I probably wont go back.

Went with 2 coworkers for lunch. We all ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen, and everyone loved it. It says spicy, but its more "flavor spicy", and NOT heat spicy. VERY GOOD! The place is VERY small so you better be ok with snuggling up close to strangers. This is a very common thing in most places of the world so kind of lent it self to the experience. Ill be coming back to try everything on the menu.
