I went in couple days ago with several of my friends, there were 7 of us. We had a big lunch, so we decide that we shouldnt eat too much and just order 3 entrees. But guess what the waiter said, Im sorry you cant do that, restaurant is a place for making money. I was like, "Wow, someone actually said that in a restaurant?" And we all know obviously that if you open a restaurant your main goal is to make money and to make profit, who would make a restaurant if they know that they will lose money. Then the manager came and talked to us saying that restaurant is a place to make profit and they wont allow us buy 3 entrees. In the end, we decided that we will buy 4 entrees, but the waiter said you wont get extra rice and you cant get refill on the sidedishes. "WOW" again I thought. It also said in the menu that if you want extra sidedishes you can pay $3.95, then we mentioned that to the waiter again, guess what he said? "I told you earlier that restaurant is a place to make profit." I was like, "jeez, you dont have to say that twice to us." Please dont go to this place if you wont eat too much. Price is also very high considering you only get a little of the food. The manager is also rude and only thinks of making money instead of giving the best for the customer. I give this restaurant 1 star because of the meal only. Other than that, service is -10 out of 5 if I can do that. Also, they actually "CHARGE" you for the tips rightaway in your bill, instead of letting the customer choose if you would give the tips or not, Our bill was not very much but for the service that they give, they charge us $8.84 for the tips, they even pointed out in the bill "TIPS-->" This restaurant wouldnt make you happy if you go.

HORRIBLE SERVICE WITH A OLD KOREAN LADY! Ive had food there before it was great. On the other hand the service with this old Korean lady is just the worst! You have to constantly tell her "I want only vegetables and tofu" she responds back "No you cant have tofu!" She puts her tone high and treats you like an idiot. We have had tofu there before replacing the meat in dishes. For some reason with her its impossible. Today was the worst! She brings out the dish with tofu and meat in it when we tell her we did not want meat in it. She uses our spoon and takes out the meat and comes back. She tells us "Whats wrong there is not meat now" What the heck!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????? Im not a vegetarian but we have certain rules to follow when it comes to our religion. We have had the same dish with tofu and without any mix-up. With her its impossible she always gives us in attitude and ignores anything we say. To make it clear she once did serve us the same dish without the meat and tofu instead but she slams the dish on our table, and walks away before we can say anything. Choga we love your food but we hate the service we get with that old lady. Sorry but we never plan to come again.

This is the most AWESOME Restaurant i ever been in to. The waiter and owner actually FORCE you to order more. My rating for this restaurant is NEGATIVE INFINITY ( for people who dont have the time to read my story)! OKay my story goes like this.... Last weekend me and 3 other friends were like " Lets go get some Korean food" ( since we DID have Japanese food for the last 2 weeks and got sick of it...VERY sick of it). Then we passed by this restaurant and we went in. We look at the menu and it was like wow... the price was very expensive. So you know we are planning to order 1 thing then leave, since we do feel bad for just coming in and leaving right after having a look at the menu. But the waiter is like " You cant order just one thing because they can not make any profit off that." One of my friend got surprise or should i say SHOCK!! so we request to talk to the owner or manager . The manager came out and say his employee is right and scold at us. Then yeah , my friends and I got soo angry so we left without ordering. Let me tell you my point. That Restaurant is the WORST restaurant EVER!!! My rating for this restaurant is... NEGATIVE INFINITY!!! yeah... thats all.

Truly speaking, the food is good. Price is kinda high, but well, to get authentic food isnt that bad. Price range is $10-20 per meal. The problem we had is the service. There were 7 of us and some of us are not feeling like eating, because we had big lunch, so we ordered 3 meals and we ask for extra rice that we are willing to pay for. The waiter said we cannot do that. The reason is "Restaurant is the place to make profit." We were like "What!!" But, well, we all know that all restaurants want profit of course. Then politely we explain that if we ordered for the 7 meals, we might not be able to finish them all. The waiter keeps insisting that we cant ordered the "extra rice." Eventually, we said we will order 1 more meal without any extra rice. The lady manager (or the owner, we are not sure) came out and scolded us. A bit later, my friend notice that we can share an entree by paying $3.95 more for rice as listed in the menu. He asked the waiter why we cant just pay the extra $3.95 and have the extra rice. The waiter said "As I said before, restaurant is a place to make profit." The waiter said it twice. Huff!! We had enough.

okay, the food here is GOOD but the service is the WORST service ive ever seen in my life. the server that we had has no work ethics at all. he never said hi or thank you or even ask us if the food is okay. he was chewing something while he serves us and never refilled our water. we tried to joke around and compliment him that hes fast and he just walked out like he didnt hear anything. after were done eating, he sneakily added an 18% tip on the bill that he didnt even deserve. the worst part of this is that we went here for my brothers birthday and we left with a frown on our face. dont ever go to this restaurant if you guys dont want to have a bad day. i would highly recommend to go to CHOSUN KOREAN BBQ instead, the owner entertained us the whole time and made sure that were having a good time. so go to CHOSUN, not CHOGA.

The tables and the chairs were in bad condition (atleast in the other rooms, away from the main area). The manager or the boss did not care when my dad fell on the floor because of their messed up chairs. They only tried to make it up with a plate of dumplings (about 7 dumplings), which is ridiculous because my dad was already in a bad state. A proper apology would have been more accepting than a plate of dumplings. Their spicy galbi or ribs barely had any meat in them. It was literally 70 percent bone and 30 percent meat. I would recommend this place if you do not regularly eat Korean food, but for those who do, its nothing better than what you are eating at home or any other Asian restaurant. Never coming back here again.
