The menu looks pretty but the food is pretty average and the service is mediocre at best. If you like getting sick after your meal, not getting your drink refilled, and margaritas with no tequila then this is the place for you. The staff is very rude and only talks to you when you order and take forever to get your bill. You pay at the front and then when you try to split the bill it is close to impossible. I Asked to split a margarita pitcher and they wouldnt make eye contact with me, discussed it in Spanish and said no can do. Food is way over priced. Would not reccomend to anyone and not going back again.

Niece ordered chicken strips, ended up being burnt chicken nuggets. Appetizer was carne queso but ended up being a plate of greasy hamburger with melted cheese. Ordered steak burrito that was filled with lettuce and sour cream and a couple small pieces of steak. Should have taken the loss and stopped but fried ice cream was ordered which ended up being freezer burnt ice cream sundae in a taco salad shell.

Ordered takeout, it was ready in like 2 minutes. The food was cold , I said no lettuce on my buritto, and I got a burrito stuffed with a bunch of lettuce and sour cream, hardly any meat. Im from the LA, so I know what good Mexican taste like, this is Mexican at its laziest. Just paid 20 bucks for pure dissapointment. And I really had high hopes. Smh!

Just stopped by for lunch today. Great Food and fast service! Loved the bean dip provided along with the salsa with the chips. Even had a kids menu and crayons that you dont see to often anymore. Good menu lots of food options and I am sure you wont be disappointed!!!

I try something new every time I go there and its delicious. My favorite so far is the Carnitas Chimichanga. I do not eat beef so I cannot speak on that but chicken and pork at very tasty. They have a pretty decent buffet at lunch too. Check it out

I give El Tapatio my five star rating. I base my Mexican restaurant ratings on two factors. The salsa and the bathroom. I always wash my hands. A bathroom that is clean means the kitchen is clean. Five stars on the salsa too. Good food.

Best Mexican food Ive had on the west side. I like that they give a variety of salsas when they bring the chips. The food is good and so are the prices. The staff has always been nice and friendly.

This location has a Mexican food buffet from 11-2 during the work week for $7.49. They had am excellent variety and even had dessert. I recommend it.
