Come here whenever we are in town. Outside seating is dog friendly. Drive-through window. Food is great, love the frosted mug root beer with a tenderloin! But...it isnt very clean. Sitting at a window booth, I saw a lot of trash on the window sill. It wasnt in view if youre cleaning from outside the booth because it was behind the in-booth juke box, so no idea how long its been there!

There are so few maid-rites left in the area, so this is definitely worth checking out. They offer their trademark loose meat sandwiches as well as a few other dishes and an assortment of fried foods (fries, cauliflower, etc). They also have ice cream! Sorry vegetarians, not many options here. Staff is friendly and it has a small town diner atmposphere.

Delicious food! Frosted mugs are perfectly chilled, and their root beer is fantastic. Best root beer I have ever had! Their loose meat maid rites are stupendous! Their only draw back is they are pretty pricy, but they do have daily specials to counter that.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant of all time. I get their mega-rite with only ketchup. Yeah, I know, I have bland taste when it comes to condiments. I only drink their Root Beer.

A Muscatine icon. Love the cheeserites. The staff is friendly and efficient. Would recommend anybody passing through to stop and enjoy a Maid Rite. A tip, order it dry.

Love that they have a separate fish dryer so my fries wont taste fishy. Nice place and good food...even have root beer floats...yum! One of our new family favorites.
