The Mongolian beef is excellent! Its spicier than any other place Ive had it. Perfectly prepared, tender pieces of meat, with crisp onion slices and a unique flavorful sauce. I would have preferred a little more than the few token bits of green onion in my serving, but otherwise great! The eggroll was a little better than average: crunchy outside with crisp, moist vegetables inside. The hot and sour soup was slightly too thick, good flavor and spice, pretty average. The lunch service was fast and the server pleasant. I might have rated China Cafe four stars for the food and service, despite the horrendous pink-saturated decor. However, I had to ding it for the extremely sticky tablecloth and the fact that all four chairs at my table were unlevel.

In comparison to chopsticks down the street it comes in second. The portions were there however, just not enough meat in my opinion. Still the lunch menu is under the $10 mark and I would eat here again and stick to the sweet and sour chicken on the lunch menu. You can see in the photo how many carrots filled the plate. Ordered for six people last week, cashier was very rude to break up all six orders as each person paid me cash for each of their orders, the portion of the entree was small and then after eating the entree and halfway through the rice I found a black hair. Wont be coming back unless its free, but will still hesitate.

Anyone who gets the chance eat here should because this place is great! Lots of great choices of food and very friendly waiters and waitresses. Its probably my favorite restaurant.

The food is so good and so cheap, its amazing. You get free hot tea, they have a wide range of dishes, the service is very rapid and the waiter is really nice. Highly recommended

My wife and I love this for a quick lunch. The 2 of us eat off the lunch menu for about $12. Friendly staff and the food is good. They do have spicy dishes if youre into that.
