What a nice little treat to discover that Capanna had opened a second location down just off the Coralville strip! We came in on a day when the line at Starbucks was super long and, per usual, were very excited about what we found! A slightly smaller and more industrial version of the North Liberty store, this place has plenty of room to spread out. A couple more couches and an armchair or two, and this place is a spot where you could do the majority of your chillaxing. Currently, there are half a dozen tables, a sweet and rustic looking long wooden bench along one of the walls. Theres a lot of open space which is something Im sure they will continue to fill up as the place gets busier. The offerings here are the same as up north, and are just as delicious. One of our all-time favorite drinks, the Cafe Miel is available and is absolutely boss. Its basically a cinnamon and honey latte, and it never fails to impress! I will declare it my favorite beverage in Iowa City! In addition, recently we had an orange cranberry scone, per request of our 3 year old ironically, that was one of the best scones weve ever had. Props to the gals behind the counter who make them in the mornings! The gelato offerings is available and is absolutely boss. Its basically a cinnamon and honey latte, and it never fails to impress! Another great addition to the local coffee scene down in Coralville. They also have a drive thru, which gives you no excuse not to go check this place out. And while youre there try a Cafe Miel!

Good coffee but the seating leaves something to be desired. Theres no wall or barrier between the brew area and the seating, and the music is usually a bit loud. These factors when combined with the concrete floor, which is cool aesthetically but bounces sound mercilessly around the open area, make this location quite loud for conducting remote business, reading peacefully, or having a Skype call.

Great vibe and decor. A little empty feeling as the space is very large. Good selection of tea and coffee. Nice couches and wooden benches. Coffee is solid, not the best Ive had but Im very happy with the cappuccino I got.

Amazing coffee, brewed locally! Love the story and the coffee. Im personally partial top the almond milk latte and all of the Gelato, but Ive never had anything less than delicious.
