I am working in North Little Rock from out of town and have heard good things about this place. I walked in around 2:45 on a Wednesday and loved the atmosphere immediately. When I walked up to the counter to order there was a guy sweeping behind the counter. He clearly saw me walk in and did not acknowledge me whatsoever. I waited a minute before asking if they were still open. He said yes were open until 6 then continued sweeping and acting like I wasnt there. Finally he came over and took my order then hung the ticket without making it. After a few minutes of wondering if my drink was going to be made, another girl came from around the corner and made my drink. He was not very friendly to her either when she asked if the tickets hanging had been made yet. I work in the service industry and if one of my employees treated a customer or coworker like that theyd be fired immediately. I was excited to try out a new coffee shop that had such good reviews but this kid ruined my first experience.

Mugs is a cross between a breakfast bakery and a hip coffee shop. I like many of their dishes and will often stop by on Saturday when the local farmers market is across the street for the all-you-can-eat pancakes. (Pancakes not available at all during the week) They are a nice fluffy pancake any weekend, but are particularly good when they have the special flavors. Unfortunately you never know when, if, or what flavor they are serving until the morning of. No schedule and no notice unless they post it on their Facebook page after they open.

We found this place as we were driving from Michigan to Texas. We didnt want fast food, so we did a quick Google search and stumbled upon this place. So glad we did. The food was yummy and very reasonable ($5 for a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit with a homemade biscuit and Gouda cheese). The gingerbread latte was just the thing I need to power through the last few hours. The atmosphere was very cool and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. If I am ever in Little Rock again, I will definitely stop by.

A wonderful atmosphere. I really enjoy the portions and the friendliness of the services. One of my favorite things is that I can order online and pay online (using Square Order). Its so seamless and easy. You can still customize your drink order, should you choose to do so. The online form said my order would be ready in 15 minutes or less! I got there a few minutes before the estimated time of completion and it was ready. All I had to do was tell them my name and it was right there waiting on me!

I ordered the breakfast tacos with a drip coffee. The tacos alone were amazing and it came with a jalapeño relish. A word of advice, the relish has quiet the kick so I would suggest using a small amount and work your way up to taste, otherwise, you end up canceling out the flavor of the taco. The drip coffee was excellent. Not too strong and not to weak, just right. They provide half and half and sweeteners which are located to the right of the order counter. Water is also provided complementary.

The food is always very good, as are the coffee drinks but they are often out of many of their items, which is frustrating. The portions are very small, perfect for my wife, but I always leave hungry. The acoustics of the place make it very loud. Its difficult to have a conversation without yelling across the table--which everybody does. Again, the food and coffee is good, and we would be regulars if it wasnt for the shortcomings mentioned above.

Very trendy "hipster" well as hipster as little rock arkansas can be. good cup of coffee very relaxed environment, open, bright and inviting food looked amazing and from what I can tell very fresh all in house cooking. If your looking for a cup of coffee that will knock your socks off not the place but looking for a place to sit down read the news send some emails troll your fb feed and relax for a lunch or brunch would say give it a go

Good simple breakfast stuff that we tried while traveling through. Tacos and French toast were good. They use Onyx coffee, but it all seemed burnt, both lattes and the cup of coffee. Not sure if it was just the barista or the way they actually intend to serve it. I know sometimes an off day happens. Id highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good coffee and a quick/small bite.

This is a wonderful place to set back, relax and let go of the stresses of life. My wife and I found you (Mugs Cafe) while passing through on a move from Texas to Kentucky. A search for best brunch turned you up. So pleased with the find, a cozy place to enjoy a cup of coffee and great food. Notable: Cuban coffee and omelet were excellent; service best ever! Thank you!

My family and I have visited Mugs several times over the past year and the quality has decreased. We really like the idea, and many of the menu items are great. However on multiple occasions they have been out of an ingredient and do not inform the customer before the purchase and make no accommodations after. A $10 Cuban sandwich should have pickles and mustard.

I love to eat breakfast and lunch here. I also have meetings here often, its a great location to meet as the tables offer a large amount of work space. That said, its hard to find space at lunch since its so popular. They also have the terrible habit of running out of ingredients. Like tomatoes and avocados. That can be annoying. Coffee selection is great though!!

Mugs has a fun relaxing atmosphere and is a great place to hang out with friends. Beyond that it is not the best coffee I have ever had. Their cold brew was bitter and did not have the refreshing fruity notes most cold brews have. I then tried an americano which proved to be a little better. Still not the best but a fun place to just hangout and relax.

Coffee was good, atmosphere was business not chill. Great for a business meeting or lunch. Bad for a friendly coffee hang out. The furniture is placed so that everyone is secluded. And "cozy" seating areas are not cozy they are awkward if someone else is already there. I do NOT recommend this for a casual coffee. I DO recommend this for a business coffee.

Ive had the Mayan mocha, the cafe con miel, the drip coffee, the espresso, the cold brew, the fresh squeezed orange juice, and probably some other items. All really good! Plenty of space and great atmosphere. Our favorite coffee house in Little Rock area, and I still havent experience the all-you-can-eat pancakes on saturday morning.

Mugs. Coffee. City folks making down home food ish. Imagine a fried bologna sandwich with a fried egg cooked over easy ... and a slice of avocado. Served with an orange slice and organic strawberries. Go here. You will like it. Oh, and i think mac book airs are optional, but u may feel out of place without one.

Great food and great coffee.. you might have to wait longer on Saturday mornings but never on your coffee. The wait times are just in regards to food. This place is off the hook and the sheer fact they use ONYX coffee beans makes it top notch. My personal fave are the Breakfast burrito and the cuban coffee. Amazing..
