I was really excited when I first came to Cedar Rapids to learn that they had a Chinese buffet relatively close to where I lived. The food is fresh and hot which is why this has 4 stars.. however there is literally one and a half (small) bars of available food and a dining room that is able to fit at least 200 people. I found this to be very very confusing. I hope they cut down on their dining room size and add in an extra food bar or too for better selection, it would easily make this restaurant the best Chinese buffet in Cedar Rapids.

Just ate here for the first time. Meal was OK, probably about average for all the Chinese buffets Ive been to. Not a huge selection. The real surprise came as we were waiting to pay and leave. Standing at the counter, you can see straight into the kitchen. I watched a cook drop a single green onion from a bundle he was carrying, looked up to see if anyone was looking (and had to see that I was), and quickly picked up the onion and put it back with his bundle!! Needless to say, we wont be returning.

I was not impressed with this Chinese Buffet. To start it was fairly empty. Not many people rushing to eat there on a Sunday afternoon. Then the food was a bit oily. Not the best Chinese I’ve ever had. The selection was fair. In the time I was there only 1 other customer entered. Usually not a good sign. The service was OK but she could’ve spent more time attending to customers instead of texting on her phone. They most likely will not see me again. Two stars and that’s being generous.

The food here is excellent. We often visit for lunch, but they recently instituted a $13 minimum charge to pay with a credit card so we will probably be visiting a lot less. It is just too much of a hassle having to get cash just to go eat lunch and more of a hassle to combine orders then try to keep track of who owes who money for lunch. The staff is polite and helpful. If they got rid of the insane credit card policy (even if it meant raising prices), it would be a 5 star choice.

I cant say how responsive the service is. its quick. its a small hole in wall type restaurant that has decent chinese food. excellent crab rangoona and egg rolls. fried rice is tasty. entre choices limited but very traditional meals. You taste the flavors of each item. they refresh the food regularly. I intend on becoming a regular at this small family establishment.

Felt like I was in grade school. Waitresses were griping about their boy problems and personal life issues so loudly that the entire restaurant could hear it. They made no attempt to be subtle --- at times, yelling back and forth over numerous tables and patrons. This place was never 4 star dining but it was at least pleasant. Not any more. Never going back.

Really a negative 1... I will not be going back! I walked in and turned around and walked out.... Rude and very unfriendly... Maybe because I was black... Eitherway I will not be spending my hard earned cash in that rat hole. I tend to go out to dinner for the experience and the atmosphere. But when u are rude it ruins the whole experience.

I ate at this Chinese restaurant for the first time earlier today. My experience was satisfactory. The food was good especially the crab ragoons those were just delicious. Our waitress was very kind, I had spilled some sweet and sour sauce on my table and she came with a washcloth and helped me clean it up. Recommended.

The food was amazing! At first I was apprehensive about eating there because the buffet is a little smaller than what I am used to seeing. However,the staff was very friendly and the food was hot and fresh. I will be returning very soon. Oh yeah, and a plus, for two adults, our meal cost us under 20 bucks! :D

Probably one of top Chinese buffet style restaurants in the Cedar Rapids area. Their crab meat ragoons are one of a kind. Their broccoli chicken is the best Ive ever had and Ive had almost every one in the area. All their dishes are delicious and must be from family recipes.

They do not have a large selection. However, the food that is out is exceptional. Came in at 2 pm and the food was hot and fresh. The crab ragoon are awesome. The place is very clean which is a rarity for buffets.
