Because I heard such good things about the cafe & they also catered an event I was at last year my sister & I stopped for lunch around 2pm on Monday, 5/8. No one greeted us when we walked in, the wait staff & other employees were up at the counter talking. We found a seat, looked at the menu and still no one came to our table. I finally walked up & asked if we needed to place our order at the counter. The older waitress apologized, said she was off duty but shed take our order. She came right to our table, was very friendly & answered our questions. However, the next waitress was young & unattentive. After bringing our food she never came back to check on us & never brought our check. However, she did spend time talking to the next table (evidently she knew them). We finally went up to pay & she suddenly found us. The tenderloin this time was salty. However the salad bar was fresh with a good variety. I wasnt thrilled with the service & tipped accordingly. I may give them another try in the future.

The market is a decent size and convenient for those in Bondurant. The selection is kind of small and can be a little pricey depending on what you need, but it has most of your basic needs covered. Please be advised that the Brickstreet has taken on a community role and often hosts holiday events here. Its hard to get in the door during these times! The café has good food and is a good price, but be prepared to wait A LOT. My husband and I frequently sat for 10-15 minutes before a waitress would even ask us for drink orders. We often tried to order our meal at the same time so we wouldnt have to wait even longer for our food. One night we received our bill and were told they would take it whenever we were ready. We set our debit card down immediately as she walked away and waited over a half hour before we decided to go up and bother one of the girls who were gossiping behind the counter. Waiters and waitresses gossiping behind the counter seems to be a common occurrence at the café.

I called to place a catering order. The woman who answered the phone was friendly and transferred me to catering. The guy who picked up the phone was EXTREMELY rude. I said, "Id like to place a catering order." In a rude voice he said "WHAT?" I repeated myself. He replied in an annoyed, voice, "When?" I began telling him the details... "Hold on a second," he said and started talking to someone else. I hung up. They lost my business to "In the Bag" catering, which is great by the way!

Brick Street catered my daughters wedding. It was AMAZING. The staff was wonderful that stayed and cleaned up. They kept the food filled and made sure everything was hot and delicious. We also had the wedding cakes done in the bakery and the lemon with lemon filling was a HIT. All the cake flavors were delicious that we had but lemon was the star. The cakes were beautiful and the price for catering and cakes was perfect. Thanks so much.

This is a great establishment. The service is always impeccable and the food is great, offering a plethora of scratch made items. This is a great asset to the community and a friendly environment for all. Tenderloin is A+ as well as some tasty breakfast options and a convenient drive-thru. This is my favorite place in town to meet and take my family. Im here 2+ times a week. Small town cafe feel with convenient access to major highways.

Nice, clean, convenient, helpful. Good addition for Bondurant! Thanks to the millionaires that opened this place! It was much needed! Please dont take this store for granted...sure youd save a buck or two by going to Wal-Mart (puke!), but with a 30 minute round trip, plus the wait in line, youll get in and out quickly at Brick Street Market, and you can get on with your life!

I stop by here about once a week for either breakfast or lunch. I love the bacon and eggs for breakfast. I love the tenderloin strips with sidewinder fries for $7.99. Sometimes I get the unlimited salad bar for $6.99. The prices are very reasonable. The service is fast and friendly. There is a big free parking lot. The staff is very friendly.

Wonderful food, exceptional service, all in a very clean, friendly and professional cafe. If you have not tried the Brick Street Cafe, do yourself a favor and make the trip. The only difficulty I have ever had is choosing between the tenderloin (fantastic) and the Butler Beef Burger (also fantastic). Also - save room (good luck) for dessert!

Really dont understand how hard it can be to take an order. Trying to eat lunch and sat myself. Maybe that was a mistake? Was ignored and finally after at least 10 minutes are order was taken (but wait a minute) She comes back 5 minutes later and asked for it again. Got up and left went to drivethru. Never again.

Have a family member that "likes to support local" have been here around 12 or 13 times and almost every time we waited over an hour after being seated to receive our food. Food is good the staff just needs a little motivation or more staff...

Had the breaded pork sandwich. It was really good. Worth the stop Id say. Will stop by again next time I pass through and try one of their burgers. Its located inside a grocery store too, so you can pick up a few things for the road.

Not sure how the food is, for the second time weve walked out after waiting 25 minutes for drinks. If it happened once Id say its a fluke but I see people in there complaining every time Im there! Dont waste your time!

My first time eating there and would definitely recommend it. Server as well as food was top notch. Very nice salad bar. Serving size quite ample ( had to take 1/2 hm). Prices were reasonable I thought.

Food was good. Wait staff was a little oblivious. One gentleman stood at cash register for about 2 minutes waiting to pay.

Great food and nice people but it is hot or miss on how long you will be waiting. The kitchen can take a long time.
