Ive had several issues with this location before I decided to write about it. Ive had a young girl be too aggressive with me when paying up front, trying to sell candles to me and adding them to my bill just because I said it smelled good..really ticked me off. Then, just the other day I ordered over the phone and picked it up through drive through and the girl was rude and asked me if I knew how much it was for, and I said no? She never told me over the phone and she got annoyed that she had to go upfront and get the receipt to know how much to ring me up, then she gave me a small drink instead of the Large that I paid for, and then I for whatever reason tipped her just to be nice and she did not say thank you and she snatched the receipt from me and was not careful that my food wasnt spilt in the bag as she tossed it through the window and walked away from me....She was pregnant but that is no excuse to be RUDE!!!!!!!

I was exercising and had walked about 3 miles and decided to get food before I went back to my hotel. I ordered and didnt check my food because I was hot and ready to go. Finally got settled and my order was wrong. I called to let them know and I was getting ready to go up there when the manager told me he was going to bring my order to me. I told him that I didnt mind walking back but he wanted my first visit to be pleasant and apologized for the mistake. Your customer service was already great before the mix up and this act of kindness made it even better. Thank you for caring about your customers and going the extra mile!!

We were at this location on Saturday and the hostess is very nice. We got this server who didnt have a clue. We ordered and waited. He dropped off our food and never came back! I had to ask another server too get my server so we could get our check and leave. We needed refills and the when he came back it was would you like your drinks to go? Seriously the worst server ever! I was so mad, my 5yr old started to tell him off! I stopped her because hes young but I was a server for 7yrs and customer service my daughter knows good and bad. Id go back there just because the food is awesome!

No complaints here, if you like country cooked food the this is your place to go. The best pancakes in town, and they know how to fry eggs right. This review only speaks to their breakfast food that Ive repeatedly enjoyed, so understand that I cant really speak for their other options. The servers that I have been waited on by are all incredible and extremely friendly. And if it couldnt get any better, they even have a cute little bakery up front full of candy and other goodies. I highly recommend Bob Evans and rank it up with the best places to eat breakfast in Plainfield.

After giving this location several do overs, it continues to go down hill. When inquiring about non breakfast menu choices the waitress was clearly irritated and inconvenienced that we even asked. We have experienced maybe two of the wait staff that are professional. As far as the food; we go for the sausage gravy one of a kind... toady it was as thin as water. (No exaggeration) I have a clear understanding, yet agai,n why this location was practically empty while two other establishments within a block of this place are busy and have wait lines and continue to do so...

Read the other reviews went anyways and was pleasantly surprised. We went about midday and instantly got seating. Our waitress was very good didnt let me finish my drink before bringing me a new one. Food arrived very quickly as well much faster than I was expecting. I had the chicken tenders which were hot and tasty and biscuits which were fresh flaky and good. All in all it was a fine experience and I would definitely go again and I would recommend others to do so as well.

Service was horrible! We came in a little before 8pm and were rushed from the get go. Wrong food was served, didnt refill drinks after one time, she brought our check and was done with us. We waited for 15 minutes after she brought the check waiting to order dessert to go, she never came back. We said something about it when checking out and all we got was "oh sorry. ." Ridiculous! I work in the service industry and this is not how you treat a customer. We wont be back!

Thank you for ruining our Thanksgiving! We waited for over an hour on our food that never came and the waitress never came back to see if we needed drinks! We watched everyone get their food and leave while we sat. Finally after deciding to leave and was offering to pay for our drinks and explaining why we were leaving one of the waitresses started mouthing us saying "Theres about to be a fight!" Low class help here at this Bob Evans!

I waited over an half hour for crepes, in a empty restaurant. I believe that the order was forgotten..Both the manager and the waiter came over and apologized. I wasnt sure for what because they never came by to tell me there was a problem. I just waited patiently. The crepes were full of a peach syrup. The syrup was actually overflowing off of the plate. They tasted good but it was more of a dessert than a breakfast item.

The food was good. Service was awful. The waitress literally set our food down and went directly to another table. She didnt ask us if we needed anything. The only time she returned to our table was 20 minutes later to drop off our check. Then I over heard her tell another waitress that she only gets tables with children. Sorry for bringing my child to a family restaurant. I will never go to this Bob Evans again.

We got there around noon and waited to be seated,we had no problems with that. It was when the hostess sat us. It was at a table that was in the walkway and was smaller than my night stand. She does not ask if this was OK, she just turned and left. Im serious when I say it was small , we had no room! We got up and left! The hostess seen us leaving and didnt even bother to ask what was wrong. We wont be back.

I am almost too upset and appalled to even describe my visit. Bottom line upfront I had to wait ridiculously long for a simple order...then listen to the girl at the register talk about me with the kitchen staff in a derogatory manner... Its a half wall...people can hear you... Customer service was horrid the bathroom was disgusting and they werent even busy.

Our office is close to this Bob Evans and we have ordered online a few times and went to pick it up. They never get our order correct. I do not recommend this location. Poor service! We will not be coming back. Management needs to get it together and double check peoples orders if their hourly employees cannot handle it. Smh...

Worse experience ever, The hostess gave us the wrong menus and was rude. Especially when we asked her to close the blinds because of the sun. She just looked at us and ignored us. We waited 30 min for our food that never showed up. We just walked out and left. It was so freaking bad.
