Someone I know spoke good of this place so my family and I went to eat here the other day . If I would have read the reviews beforehand I probably wouldnt have taken his word for it and just skipped out on that visit and went elsewhere . When we sat down the table was gross and sticky . The waitress did come and wipe it off after we asked her to , but thats beside the point . There was an ant in the salt shaker (I have a picture) . The pancakes tasted like they were cooked with alcohol . And the service was slowly than molasses . The only GOOD experience we had was that the waitress was a sweetheart and she checked on us . Other than that .. there was nothing positive about this place and the bug took the cake . We wont be coming back .

If its Saturday or Sunday and its already past 9am, be prepared for a decent wait. We are typically in line for 15 to 20 minutes, even if we are at the door or outside. While this is pretty good as far as getting you seated, this is normally accomplished by rushing visitors out the door. I get it. They arent making money by me sitting and enjoying my coffee. Even though I understand, it can be a little annoying when trying to enjoy my breakfast with my family. This is especially true when dropping $40 on breakfast. While I like the food, if you arent in a hurry, give Rosies, First Watch, Lincoln Square, Patachou, etc, etc a try. As you can see, pancakes are served all over the place.

My wife and I frequent this establishment and have always had fast courteous service. We must have caught it on a bad day last Sunday. We arrived to no wait and were seated quickly. Our food was slow coming out and had to be sent back because of a long hair cooked into my omelette. The replacement was brought quickly, but the cook must have over compensated with the cheese. I couldnt eat it. My meal was comped and they apologized. Disappointing after so many good experiences. I guess we cant win em all.

Not a place for small meals. You get a lot of pancake. Service was great, very nice and attentive. One of the other reviews mentioned not being fooled by the great pictures, but the strawberry pancakes I ordered looked picturesque, truly. Very impressive and very tasty. That said, the chocolate pancakes my sister ordered were so loaded with chocolate that she ended up saying two notable things: "Would you like some pancake with that chocolate?" and "I dont like chocolate anymore. Just in general."

The staff wasnt the friendliest, at least not till she smiled when i was leaving. She made me feel rushed. I had never been there so I wanted to look through the menu and asked literally two simple questions about the food. My food was cold and my eggs were scrambled but still kind of runny. The atmosphere is nice and I want to give it another chance but my first experience wasnt very good. :/

We went for breakfast and were seated in a booth. We noticed ants crawling on the back of the booth and then on the table. We got up and moved and notified the waitress. She wiped the booth and ants with a rag and seated another customer there with his back to more crawling ants. She never apologized. Gross!! Food was cold and took forever to be served!

I came here recently and got the cherry crepes. More than anything I enjoyed the cherry syrup, as the other part was too spongy for my liking. The interior kind of makes me feel like Im at a dentists office, but what theyve done with it makes it a little better. Im not a huge breakfast guy, but if you are you should give it a shot anyway.

Despite the attractive decor and friendly staff, this place was HORRIBLE. Food took a long time to prepare. When it arrived, it was bad. Really bad. So bad that 1 in our group of 7 got sick shortly afterwards. 2 others got sick later in the day. All this after a very pricey ticket. Never again for us!

This place is very average. Service is ok and food is sub-par. Nothing really tasted that good, especially for the price. They want $5 for 4 slices of bacon and $8 for 6 pancakes. Thats a ripoff for the quality of food. Plenty of better options.

Never had a bad experience here. The food is always excellent as is the service. The food may take a little longer to arrive than other places but its well worth it. There isnt a dish Ive had here that I wouldnt eat again.

Called in for a carry out and they said they can only take such order if a person comes in, I sent my brother in and they told him they can only take the order if he sits in to eat... Very poor customer service.

Andys Apple Pancake is humongous. Dont be deceived by the deliciously decadant looking picture in the menu. This pancake has a lot in common with a soufflé and feels more like a meal than a dessert item.

Food is delicious and has a really nice atmosphere. The waits can get pretty long and the food is expensive, but I think its definitely worth it--especially if youre with friends and family.

Expensive, the staff unfriendly and the bathroom toilet had urine and multiple pubic hairs one seat. I cleaned it so my 4 yr old could use it. Will not be going back.
